I am inclined to probably agree with you IO, at least for the group that edits the non-news commentary or more humorous shows like Fox and Friends. I went back and reread the Media Matters piece, and watched the video. At the time of my post I didn't realize this entire segment culminated in a very obvious and humorous (not really, but they must have thought it was teh funny) photo manipulation. The fact they were unabashedly editing these photos to make them look like goofs as a part of their little parody piece does make the offense less egregious to me. I stand behind my statement that this type of editing should not be done, and that Fox should be held accountable. But I don't think you could ever find this kind of thing in their more serious news programs. Assuming of course you can actually find their more serious news programs among all of the poop.
