But really, creators need to make sure they're able to finish their plots. "They ran out of time" isn't an excuse -- if it's too long to fit into one movie, then it needs to be simplified. People who convert books to movies do this all the time. |
But it DID add depth. The same kind of depth that the end of 12 Monkeys had. It was inevitable. Part of it is that idea that no matter how much we try to veer from the way that things are, the way things are will come crashing down on us in the end.
