| It wasn't how The Mist ended per se, it was how the mist instantly cleared about 30 seconds after he shot the last person. I mean, if he wandered for a couple days after looking for monsters to eat him (but they weren't there) and it slowly faded off and THEN we saw the rescue convoy (with the woman that ran out of the supermarket at the beginning and everything), it wouldn't have seemed so retarded.
Then again, I guess it fits in with how these people trapped in the store formed entire new insane brainwashed societies in the matter of 1-2 days. At least with the book it seemed like more time took place. |
