This makes no sense. Open source is as much against illegal copying as anything else. The entire free software movement relies on being able to enforce copyright. The GPL means nothing if you ignore copyright law.
Also I'm an Open Source dev, and I'm a free market libertarian, but I'll let that one slide too... Just be careful with your neat little bins...
