| First off, geez, they've managed to do it again.
The one thing that worries me about this, and I'll use a real example. I have a lot of scripts out there - such as the FlipTitle one - that are full mod and have been out for years (from back in the early days of the GNUbie Store before assholes were everywhere). Anyone with that script could rename it, put whatever infringing code they want in place of it, and save it... with me still listed as the creator in any number of objects.
If that infringing code still has me listed as creator, instead of the "actual" creator who just did the modification... I could potentially be banned.
What a total cluster fuck. Why is there only a "Created By" and "Owned By" and not a "Last Modified By" field, at the least? I've shared my ideas for a better system (pre-registration of creations, vaulted information, etc) through SLPTO - Linden Lab asked me to take it down, which I'm doing. Here's hoping they at least GOM something which helps hard working content creators instead of things that pad their bank vault.
I've gone out of my way lately to work with and understand this company at significant cost to myself, with time I don't have (SLTrivia, SLGuide, SLPTO, SecondBlogger); however, they continue to disappoint. I'm sure glad they're according the fucking content thieves every second chance and comfort they can, however; leave admitted criminals who take money from hard working people (Rase Kenzo, Volkov Catteneo?) in world, but be sure you ban everyone even remotely associated with a few grid crashers through guilt by association!
*facepalm*
