lol, just fiy that's a common brazilian-portuguese expression. i can't think of anything similar in english tho.
when people are so desperate for attention (like guy herself seems to be), we tell them to "go hang a watermelon on their neck". like, a real watermelon as a pendant on a necklace, can you picture? that would certainly call a lot of attention...
