It has been a combination of thing that culminated in the past few days, but it has not been any one thing specifically. I like the low moderation as well, and have zero desire to micromanage adults, but something needs to give.
I won't lie and say I am not really fed up at this point - this is quite a thankless job at times, and when it is combined with some of the absolute staggering bullshit that has occured recently, it makes it more and more difficult to answer the question of why I keep doing this. It is not like this is some lucrative gig for me - I am paying a signficant amount of money, not to mention my time, to run this site. I'm not going to walk away, but at the same time, I do have limits to my apparent masochism.
