I can say that I thought the guy who does the tattoo makeup on the dolls probably said it best, "some people have social interaction problems and the dolls work for them". Really, that is a very good take on it. I also think that these guys (and probably girls too - the website has a male doll) are better off with the dolls than possibly being weird and unstable with another human being but...
This is challenging my sense of maturity guys. Srsly.
