Wow - this thread has been an education in legalities and graphics.
I tried making skin for myself using the almighty gimp (gimp is my hero) and downloading the
SL avvie models into the AC3d modelling program and overlaying Robin Woods fantastic UV mapping onto the models for testing out the flat graphics. It is definitely possible, though the quality of skins available in
SL makes my efforts so far look deffo Flintstone-ish.
Patience is the key word I think.
