The difference is that LL was entering a virtual worlds vacuum, and they've had years to patch it all up.
HipiHi is essentially trying to one-up
SL one feature at a time, on the fly, the same way LL did it.
You can't do it twice. It has to be pretty well polished before people will use it for business. It needs content to get people there. If it's hard to use people will stick to
SL (it's hard to use but we're used to it).
right now it's an empty continent. Their landmass is the size of the second mainland continent, but there's nothing in there, nor are there people.
SL at least kept the population density "up" by releasing sims when it was needed.
