I can see cracking down in cases where Second Life,
SL or the logos were used without prior permission to some extent though, but when you have an open policy for 4-5 years where anyone can use it with or without permission, a sudden crackdown seems unwarranted. The language is also vague where they have allowed permission in the past to use
SL or Second Life in terms of a third party venture i.e. the Second Life Community Convention... Does the prior arrangement still stand or is it null and void in light of recent changes? If its null and void I think its a bit ridiculous.
