Pissed rightfully so. Perhaps you should take it up with Torley or something because domain name change is not a simple matter.
Besides it's a pretty common thing that fansites use the host name (e.g. WoW, RO, Sims) and extend it. IMO LL should not take any issues with SLUniverse, SLExchange, and the like since they are extended names very much like, say, ROEmpire, and there's no way you can be mistaken to be an official LL entity.
LL should allow the
SL-extending. It's important for them to have legal distance but it's also important for them to have recognizable proximity. People still have to know immediately that your site is
SL-oriented.
