Very, very true. Maybe I used the wrong examples, but the general gist of what I was trying to convey was: If they're choosing what they're working on, rather than being assigned to a task, no one is going to choose the icky yucky troubleshooting problem tasks. I sure as hell wouldn't, but that's why I don't own a company. That's the artist/visionary core of LL, but sadly that's not what I think they need anymore. They need some spit polish, in my opinion, and since most startup companies switch to a new CEO who's more pragmatic than artistic after about 4-5 years, I'm hoping that's the angle they're going for.
