| Obviously, requiring Saudi Arabia to merely send female athletes is not enough. The next step is to require them to make some sort of minimal attempt to prepare the female athletes they send.
It's not like Saudi Arabia is a poor country. That government can scrape up a little money to do the training.
If the IOC can disqualify badminton teams for throwing matches, they can disqualify Saudi Arabia for half-assing the female participation. |
