| Because religion is very binary - believe / not believe. It fits easily into base 10, 1/0, and hardwired the human brains for binary conditioning.
Where as a base 12 system would have prevented the hardwiring, and it would be more believe / sure dude, pass the bowl - 1 / 2. It would have also science of what tastes the colors represent, therefor making primitive humans less afraid of the unknown, which also helped religion to come about. |
