Its supposed to be because its a great way to manipulate people.
So here we are, talking about ageplay again when it is banned, over and done with. I could probably come on to these forums, start a thread that says nothing beyond "I think ageplay is fine" and all of the usual suspects would post to that thread saying the same things they have contined to say since the subject first came up. Because OMG THINK OF THE CHILDREN! Gah.
The thing is, you don't actually care as much about the children as you say you do or you'd be out somewhere in the world helping them. But donating money to save the children or working at a homeless shelter that takes kids or some other organization that actually helps kids that need help is harder than yelling on a message board about the psychological makeup of two adults doing something that you don't personally like.
And all the while you've forgotten that the thread didn't actually have anything to do with ageplay in the first place, that a good woman was attacked by trying to raise money for autism and her content was ripped off. But that there's actual proof of that doesn't bother you half as much as the thought that there might be someone out there who maybe once thought about ageplay.
