| I was bullied throughout high school, living in constant terror of physical abuse .. I was utterly powerless to do anything about it and deeply depressed and utterly isolated. The only support I got from my parents was the time old advice to hit back. doesn't really work.
I think if I had been given a stun gun for protection I would have been for turning the tables, would not have ended well at all, so with hindsight I'm pretty glad I did what I did and got the hell out as soon as I could.
(In the end Karma came to my rescue and dropped my bully off a bridge onto powerlines. He's knocking about someplace still .. If anything I pity him now) |
