This article reminded me of when I went to Pierce College to take a few classes and most of the other students reminded me of monks walking around with their heads down in prayer.

When I go to a friend of mines home to visit, I laugh at her husband who uses the voice software to text and has to repeat each message two or three times before the text is correct enough to send.
He is always grumbling and telling us to be quiet because when we are talking or laughing about something, our voices confuse his texting software.
Listening to him trying to text, I always think that it would be easier and faster to just dial the person on the other end and just speak to them.
All of this reliance on electronic friends verses meeting one in RL cannot be healthy in my opinion.
