I did hear of one case about a decade back, where a man in England did die of THC overdose. But according to the story, he smoked about a pound a day for years (and having many years ago smoked some incredibly weak-ass homegrown that took about an ounce for a decent buzz, that's not too hard to believe in and of itself).
I can't find the article, of course, which means it was likely an urban myth/scare tactic story with a big dollop of whipped bullshit on top. But even if it were true, that would be a) a HELL of a lot of pot, and b) ONE reported case since the plant has been cultivated for recreational purposes.
