It might seem that way, but they actually do care what people think of them - hence why they astroturf their own site and send people to this thread in vein attempts to explain away the problems.
It just SEEMS like they don't care because they have been so deluded over time with weekly meetings filling their head with Kalel's nonsense that they actually think what they are doing is "ok."
Because of that, they completely miss what point you are trying to make when you ask insightful questions about their behavior. They take it as "oh look, this poor ignorant resident doesn't know what amazing work we do, here let me explain it for you" instead of "oh shit they are fucking pissed making good points and I had better tell them WHY we think this is ok"
For now, you can expect a period of silence followed by a long article on their controlled Krypton Radio blog where all comments will be deleted that are critical and a wave of supportive comments will follow (99 percent of which will be comments made by them under assumed names - they've been caught doing it before).
It'd be nice to see them try something original in response to criticism this time, though. I really wouldn't hold your breath.
As for those that think people posting on here with an axe to grind should be taken any less seriously than anyone else - I think that if the actions and comments of the JLU members here in this thread to date aren't enough to convince you that those with an axe to grind have a valid one, maybe reading something other than the lolcats in the thread will help.
