I'd want them to rot and suffer and be bumraped for years to come, while I'm alive and knowing that it's taking place. Ending their live doesn't bring that suffering, and if you just walk up to them and shoot them in the head, it's over faster for them than they can shout 'oh noes'. And if you end yours, then congrats, he managed to cause another senseless death.
