Fantasy Faire, though, is an event that I wholeheartedly support because it supports a great cause; the fight against Cancer. Festive Liaisons

Because they make the festivities all the better, right? The egg on the background is called Liaisons Dangerouses and all the three letters — two on the table, one inside the egg — contain a quote from the book. It and plenty of other festive things I’m about to show are by ~Libertine~ and can be found in the Midwinter Fair.
The wreath and the set of armlets and anklets (with a necklace I didn’t use for these pictures) are by Trident from the same fair. All the curlique shapes simply went together too well not to combine. The fair has also a hunt going on and the festive pendant I’m wearing can be found in it.The festive balls — and the pendant for the hunt — are also by ~Libertine~ and can be found in the fair. The table with all of them on display is for sale separately, where as the transferable balls are for sale under the big tree in the fair. They are fully modifiable and can be shrunk down to earring-size, as I just did here. As for the outfit, it’s by SAKIDE and it’s actually called Vintage Glam Dress, although to me it felt more appropriate as a set of lingerie. It’s available in Frost Winter Fashion Fair. Even the *~ by Nacht bed from Gothmas by Gaslight continued the curlique leaf motif, so I couldn’t resist it. The surroundings are a Roman bath dream scene by Garden of Dreams because the wreath somehow simply called for it.

Enchanted Frost

“Frost’s daughters are dancing.” My mother used to say that when the temperature reached the levels where snow is covered with countless sparkling little stars. That’s still the image in my head every time, every winter. It’s December now, the snow has not only fallen but blown in and therefore I had to welcome it with one of the said daughters.

Almost everything in the post is from MadPea’s latest hunt: Enchanted Frost. Their hunts are my favourites due to the excellent storytelling involved. It’s not just finding hidden items, it’s an experience. This one sends you to find the fifteen lost memories of the captured Princess Enid and then make your way through the maze to bring back the summer and to claim all the prizes in the end.

The frosted faun antlers by Vita’s Boudoir make me think of snow queens of less compassionate nature, but that is winter for you. Beautiful and lethal. At least this particular fairy allows birdies to rest on the antlers. The ice elf eyes and the frost half-body tattoo by Fallen Gods Inc. are from the hunt as well, but the matching ice crystal skin, wings and the curlique hip attachment are not hunt prizes, the frost’s daughter simply needed them.

The scene is mixed from the prizes of Roawenwood, Trident and Les Sucreries de Fairy. The harp is playable, even when the fairy seems too blue to try. If you feel like getting into the wintry spirit, you can begin your adventure here.

The 5th Annual Home & Garden Expo opened yesterday with sixteen SIMs full of shopping, entertainment and fun. This event is to both showcase the amazing talent of home and garden designers in world and to raise money for Relay for Life, a charity benefiting the American Cancer Society. Fire and Ice

Meet the twins: Teadoam and Fyarem. One from the frozen wasteland of the Northern seas, the other from the infernal pits deep within the planet. Watch out! Both are mischievous little kitties prone to pranks and jokes on unsuspecting visitors.

Teadoam and Fyarem are two of the beautiful Khalaji neko avatar from Amashin Yossarian of Curious Kitties. They all have delicate features and details that make them perfect for roleplay and modeling. Fyarem even has the occasional flash of fire that results from his hot personality. Today, they’re showing their playful side with some fun fantasy jewelry from Laufey Markstein of Trident. The entire Khalaji family and the full line of Trident jewelry and RP props can be found at this year’s Fantasy Faire.

This year’s Fantasy Faire includes eight lavishly landscaped shopping sims created by some of the top designers in Second Life. While each sim has a unique feel to it, they are connected as one Fairelands, a Fantasy continent. Whether your style be steampunk or fae, mer or gothic you will find yourself at home on several, if not all, the sims and enjoy exploring them all. Fantasy Faire ends this weekend so head over right away!

When Sanity Falls

There’s a wonderful new game-hunt by MadPea called Sanity Falls. It is a story of Alexander Blackwell and his desperate attempts to free his wife from the hands of kidnappers. This is not a shiny-happy-cuddly hunt, so be warned.

You can purchase the game-HUD (100L) from here to begin your hunt. Don’t forget to pick up the Alex-avatar nearby if you want to really immerse yourself into the game. By the way, this is an excellent deal for new male players: 100L for a whole, good avatar. I’d suggest picking him up even if you wouldn’t do the hunt. (You need to have the HUD to get him.)

You can see all the prizes here. Note that there’s two prizes per shop, one that you get immediately when you locate the ransom money in the shop and another that you get in the very end of the adventure. There were plenty of things that I liked, but for these pictures I wanted something slightly less sane and more chaotic. The Alex-paintings are screenshots by me, I inserted them in the frames that otherwise had wonderful Alice pictures. I wanted Insanity here watching him through them as he continues his quest…

May Massacre

I woke up feeling hurt every inch of my body. I didn't know where I was and how I got here. I could see there was a lot of blood splatter and cuts on my body. Was the blood all mine? May be, or may be not. I didn't have the equipment to determine whose blood. In time like this, there was much bigger thing I needed to worry about because from the cut I have so far, they might want to finish me off.

For those who in my plurk timeline, might have known I was having problem with L$. In summary, for those who use Paypal to buy L$ directly was having problem where the amount has been deducted from Paypal but it didn't appear in SL. To cut story short, I had to cut off my shopping budget which resulted I'm wearing those outfit that I have bought but I don't wear yet.

Well I found few hidden gems in my inventory. I found this dress while I'm doing some clean up on my short dress folder. Yup I kinda love love love short dress. I have more short dress than formal long dress. I also have tendency buying things on impulse. Impulse + love = lots of unused yet item. Boys and girls, that kind of habit need to be on control if you have very limited budget like I'm having this week. Ok back to this lovely dress. Yup the dress said pink when I bought it but it does not look pink but more purplish/dark fushia to me. What the heck but I still bought. I can't remember why I bought it in the first place. *blush*

I want to be a pirate

Yup I want to be a pirate just for today *grin* Well I won’t be anything like Jack Sparrow or Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of Carriebean but I’ll be fashionista pirate. Hmm my intention wasn’t nearing to be a pirate but after I have the boots and the eye patch, yup I kinda look like pirate. You won’t need to worry about sword, guns or perhaps bomb, I already put them away nicely in my inventory for today. May be I have one too many of assassin looks *wink*. Once again I use something new, something old and ….hmm well nothing blue.

Today, I’m having fun on doing SL shadow in my photo. At first I want to do the picture on few location, but I at the end I want to use a simple white background like I’ve done in the past. Beside shadow, I try eyeshadow in tattoo layer. I just found something that match to my lipstick instead the normal smokey dark eyeshadow in this skin. So what do you think?

I just realize, other people does not provide butt shot..err I mean pictures from their behind. It was rather front or side. As for me, I like to have those shot because I want to see how does the outfit look from behind. It does not matter whether it is necklace, shoes, tops or pants.
