How hard could it be to get official notices, in world, when things are happening that affect inventory and performance. Take for example the major changes with mesh coming in, and all the scripting changes to Blue Steel this month. Can't they give us a notice that says, please read these changes that may affect your Second Life, or, we are going to start rolling restarts, so do not build, buy or fart during this process.

By the way, Phoenix Viewer is now borking up (textures not rezzing on avatar) since these upgrades, and Firestorm, which has awesome graphics but now hangs, coughs, shutters, lags, and for whatever reason won't log itself out, but clings like a deer tick on exit. ** Thank you Linden for practically forcing V2 on me all in the name of mesh, which 99.9 percent of residents remain clueless about.

Am I the only one who clearly sees a "failure to communicate?"

Now, back to restarts. Today I lost four items that will never be returned. Poof. I'd made the mistake of setting them out without checking the Grid Status. The thing that annoys me is I always check! But today, well, call it a senior moment, but I didn't check. The reason I always check before building is this happened before. At that time I was not as savvy to understand things l (Read more...)
