Never Truly Gone

We are never truly gone. They think we are but stories, old legends, ancient myths. They call us explanations for the unknown, symbols for the various parts of human life, concepts made easier to grasp. We are. There is no telling if we existed first and helped shape these concepts, imprinted them on the human mind, or if the humans called us to being with their devotion and fervent belief. No telling, nor does it matter. We rose from the sand: shaped of gold, carrying the living sun in our hearts. We rose, we ruled, we faded into stories. That is the biggest story of them all, the one where we faded. They keep telling it, not realizing that with each telling the sun grows brighter, the hawks fly higher, the minions of Bastet step into your homes and demand your worship. In each purring sound you hear the desert wind, each dawn reveals the rise of the radiant disk held high, in each story you hear more of the truth. We are always here, every sunrise, every nightfall, every soft step in the alleyways, every shriek in the skies. Read the rest

Seraphim is at the Relay for Life Home & Garden Expo 2017

The organizers of the 2017 RFL H&G Expo have included spaces for various SL resources – magazines, larger blogs, etc. I personally look forward every year to exploring the ever-growing event, which stretches over nine (!) sims. We are honored to have been included in this very important and fun event, and we encourage everyone to try and visit as much as your time allows – including Hope 6, which is where we can be found. While you’re there, make sure to click on the image of the free chair to get a landmark to our HQ for a free chair! Exploring, participating, learning, and plenty of shopping, all for a very good cause, it doesn’t get much better than that. Teleport to Hope 6

Welcome to the Relay for Life Home & Garden Expo 2017!

With nine full sims bursting with H&G creations under the theme “Passport to Hope”, this annual event is sure to bring some joy for interior decor enthusiasts! But most importantly and as you may know, the Home & Garden Expo raises money for Relay For Life of Second Life. Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event, and RFL of SL is one of its virtual counterparts. You can help make a difference with every purchase and tip, however small it may seem! So don’t miss this chance to shop and do good, stop by before June 4th! I say love, it is a flower, And you its only seed. It’s the heart afraid of breaking That … Continue reading Sunday musings, for all those who relay →

Fantasy Faire is the People

I thought I had nothing more to say. I thought I had said all that I had in me in my ramblings of these last years. I kept thinking I should write a wrap-up piece, something to express my feelings by the end of the Faire, but every time I thought of it only scattered … Continue reading Fantasy Faire is the People →

LitFest Tours – Stories from the Regions: Blackmoor

The Ballad Beyond by Saffia Widdershins Alone in the mists, the fae waited, her fair hair covered by a dark red hood. At her side, the little unicorn shivered and stamped a nervous foot. Lights, Camera, Fedora

One of the things about being far away from Dwarfin lands is that you need something to remember the trip by. Hence why I have been happily been snapping myself in a free fedora which you too can get if you visit Sylvan Of Spells, home of literature at this year’s Fantasy Faire.
