Hi all!

So yesterday I saw a blogger opportunity to get a sneak preview of the new GOL, if you are not familiar with GOL it’s a long running house/techno club in Second Life. When they change the build they change the number hence the 9th for the 9th build. The grand opening will be this Friday May 24th!

I’ve hung out at GOL more than a few times in the past year so of course I had to see what changes were made. I have to say overall the build has a upscale feel than the last. As far as the layout it is about the same, entrance into a hallway then you choose left or right to hit the dance floor, but now there is this cute column sort of deal with a sign on it saying the 9th GOL. Also if you were familiar with the last build they did away with the rails and the platform they had when you first enter, I have to say I like it better. Also the roof is still open which makes for a cool atmospheric sky light and there are now photos of different parts of avie’s (shoes, hands face etc) on the walls for decor which was a nice touch I have to say. (raw shots below ♥)

I’m not sure whee you live but it is getting hot round these parts. Honestly I’d rather be cold than hot something about snuggling in a warm blanket next to the fire place is much more inviting than sweating your ass off at the family BBQ, while grandma’s taken that’s 50th swing at the pinata BUT whatever your preference, I hope you’re enjoying you’re week so far. Since it’s been pretty warm here I wanted to do a bit of a seasonal post.

This hair I’m wearing is called Sadie from Truth Hair I’m sure most of you have seen it but it’s by far my favorite truth hair…ever! I love the retro vibe from this hair, I feel like “Rosie The Riveter” with less muscle and less work ethic.

Next is this AUX top which is currently at Collabor88, frills to me equal retro it worked perfectly what can I say? This top also comes in a cropped version, but I wanted to cover up my gut, probably why I’m sweating eh?

Next the shorts, I love love love the bottoms from Teefy and The Secret Store and here is why… usually they are high waists… I love high waists and most of their tops fit perfectly with high waist pants even when interchanged! Don’t believe me? Go buy a Secret Store top and Teefy pants or vice versa (don’t worry I’ll wait) I can bet you, they look great together. Wanted to show off my fav releases from this weekend!

First off Exile released 3 new hairs…oh how I’ve missed exile, and I love that there is a hud now the less items in my inventory the better! Anyway This one is called Hearts Don’t Breakeven, I love hair that can be considered a bit vintage this is def one! the swooped bangs….loooove. I got the other styles as well so if you have not stopped by Exile hairy it up! (wow that was corny, I apologize)

Next is this adorable Skater Skirt Dress from Villena, now if you have already went to demo this dress I saw a notice that was sent out apparently something was wrong with the demos but it’s now fixed! So demo to your hearts desire, I didn’t even bother to demo I knew I loved it, took me about two seconds to pic a color and I was out quicker than you can say TP! This dress comes with a HUD to change the color of your top (20 different colors!) so no matter the color you get for the skirt, you still are able to customize to your heart’s desire!

The 2nd round of The Boutique by The Liaison Collaborative has begun!  The theme is "Fresh" and being that I am a perpetual child deep down inside, I wanted to try and make something really fun.  Also, wanted to make something that both the adult and children avatars could enjoy so I made my own little mesh version of an old childhood toy, Skip It.  I didn't call it that, or make it exactly the same because well…you know.  Anyway!  I had a good/hard/migraine inducing/spectacular time making this and even though it probably took me 3x as long to do…I DID IT LOL.  So, I hope you all enjoy it!  

The prop is modifiable via the edit menu, just keep in mind it is one piece so it will all shrink and it can only go so far until it doesn't fit your ankle anymore.  There are 5 color combination choices via menu, just touch the end of the prop and it will pop right up.  8 poses total in the package, and it is priced at a small discount for the duration of The Boutique.  There's lots of great things at The Boutique, hope you stop by! ♥

I have the best time with my friends in SL.  Once was missing from the party, but it was still a blasty blast.  These people are so crazy, you can't help but spend the night in giggle fits and tears.  I wanted to set up my new barbeque set and take some pictures, took way longer than it should have.  AJ and Dream got in the pool (fully clothed at first, I might add) and then Miranda joined for a bit.  The hilarity of that was she actually looked like a kid wading in there.  You had to be there.

So, usually I do decor as is and I'm not in the pictures.  Since everyone was here, I told them to bathing suit up! and find somewhere to sit.  Miranda noob stood over to the side forever, until she got her stuff n stuff together.  AJ and Dream tried every single cuddle pose in there lol and me & Oakley of course guarded the food

Sometimes I can't get my brain to shut up.  Do y'all have those moments?  Luckily, lately it's been for great reasons.  When you take a step back and just observe the state of things in your life it can be very overwhelming.  On the rare occasion, it can be amazing and wonderful.  I'm having one of those days.  Well, maybe even weekends?  I have a beautiful, healthy little boy and a few very awesome friends that constantly make me smile.  RL and SL are pretty dandy right now, who'd have thunk it?

Collabor88 MAYYYY woooo!!!! alright so the theme is all about rain or shine. Which made for so many adorable items and there seems to be quite a guest bloggers which is always exciting!

Do you have a friend that is kind of like the pesky little sister you never wanted? I mean…had.  LOL.  That's my Oakley.  She is a basketcase, to be sure but my time in SL is funnier, and of course more fun and full of red hair than before.  We've known each other for a bit but only really started to get as close as we are over the past year.  Can't imagine SL without her demands to get on voice, her eating on mic and of course…her man burps.  You wouldn't think someone that cleans up that good could be so gross, would you?  BUT SHE IS.  On the balance, she serenades me with her beautious voice so all is forgiven ♥

It took us way too long to do this picture.  Pro tip:if she says, we should take a picture, say yes if she's already dressed and knows where she wants to take it.  I almost died that night, sooo sleepy and I attached my eye HUD, fixed my eyes and then she came around with her own eye hud and SHUT my eyes.  Sabotage.
