…not only is the color palette gorgeous (shades of deep orange, golden yellow && cool teal-blue), but just about everything i spied there was callin’ my name~

collabor88 is one of those events that i look most forward to every single month. the mixture of home furnishings (which *really* helps, considering i’ve a brand new home to finish decorating!), fabulous fashion, accessories and even poses is all kinds of awesome. but this round, i found *so* many things i honestly flipped out for that i couldn’t even fit everything into one look. the collections just keep getting better && better and this round was definitely no exception.

the dress i’m wearing here is *so* sexy. it’s from hucci and i absolutely love it. the turtleneck collar, the length of the skirt, the lovely suede texturing…. and the way it moves… it is just flaw free. the fit on this dress is fantastic and i adore this blue-gray color, but i also snagged it in black because it was just too *good* to pass up.

glam affair also has a few new things at collabor88 this round, including both the boots(!) && the skin i’m wearing today. the seul ankle boots come in a range of really pretty jewel tone colors that almost look metallic, but my favorite was this pretty golden bronze color. it’s neutral enough to work with just about anything i could possibly want to wear  (Read more...)

and it *all* started with this cherry print skirt.

i picked it up from teefy @ the new fameshed collection because… it’s cherries(!). this print is so cute and i love the way these skirts fit. high-waist skirts are always super sexy, especially when they’re nice and short like these are, but i chose to wear the skirt underneath a large ‘n’ comfy hoodie (from ispachi — this light blue color is wonderful!) for a more cute, casual look.

these shoes from g field were *perfect* for this look… because while i grabbed the black pair, most of the shoe is totally customizable. the upper half, the toe, the sole && the laces are all texture change, so i was able to change my shoes to match my red && blue look. these shoes are fantastically made (as is everything from g field), and really nice for casual wear.. and the fact that i can match them to just about *anything* make these a great bargain.

the sim i photographed this look on is so cute! i spied it first on juicybomb and made a mental note to visit when i had a look appropriate enough for the sim. and i have to say, the build there is *really* creative. almost everything is animated — there’s a cute li’l fisherman sitting on a (Read more...)

It is a great privilege to be a part of the MADesigns Team. Revitalize? Personally, my goal is to be able to impart life to the new people I am going to meet. The outfit I am wearing is a very relaxed, bright-colored, and suiting for a stroll in the park.

Style tips: Playing with “Complimentary Colors” on outfits. Male styling can be challenging when it comes to styling with colors without looking too bright or too dim. Just always remember to check a color wheel for color contrasts, so you will know which colors to match altogether. (example: Green Jacket + Orange Tie = perfect contrast).

It just takes practice…but it’s worth it.

I must have a heat stroke already. On what is likely going to be the hottest day of the year, I’m posting a first fall look for a chilly day. But I love this sweater so hard I just had to use it.  Deco has some pretty awesome mesh items for both men and women, so if you have never been there, you should go today!! (Or tomorrow… but don’t wait and forget)

On today’s hot weather, I’m going to buy some of my new fave juice (coconut water & pineapple) put it in the freezer for an hour or so and try to not over heat. Most houses here don’t have climate control but still, I have noticed ours being pretty cool as long as I keep the windows and doors shut.

Ok, off to the grocery store I go! Happy Saturday!!

Last weekend Mon Tissue released these adorable frock dresses which I have been wearing almost continuously ever since! The come in a lovely selection of colors, but this floral one is my favorite. Perfect for my last days of summer vacation!
Also perfect, but for going back to work, are the Spade blouses. They are totally business smart, but can still easily be worn very casually on a pair of jeans shorts. These also come in a vast range of patterns and colors.

I want to share with you a new house from Funky Junk owned by Ulaa Coronet that is new at vintage fair 2012! it’s called Salinas. There are 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a sunken living room (which I love! so retro!) kitchen dining and there is a version with a garage. (you can also purchase the home without it). It’s so white picket fence! The perfect home to feel perfect in lol. So the last couple of photos I had to cause a little ruckus just to mix things up a bit.

This is Little Red… she’s… red.  The dress and shoes are both from Baiastice and are gorrrrgeous.  They both come in oodles of colours, I wanted to fatpack the shoes but I couldn’t justify it, I probably won’t wear half the colours, so I got red, black and lime!  The dress is a gorgeous, pleated number that matches the shoes perfectly.  I adore the new hair from Exile, I featured the other style in my LoTD just earlier, but this baby comes complete with mesh hood and cape!    The skins from Belleza are just lovely.  You just get one tone and makeup but the usuals like cleavage/hairbases etc!

This is 50 Shades.  Of course 50 Shades has NOTHING to do with Fairy Tales, unless it’s your fairytale .  I wasn’t sure how to wear the corset from Aura and I wanted to wear the Kyoot things too.  So I mishmashed them together! I have the Aura corset on with the Kyoot skirt (it’s a dress) and I put a Mr Poet ruffled shirt under it for a slightly… different look.  I then put on one of the 2 Wasabi Pills hairs avaialable and topped it off with tke crown and veil from (Read more...)

…that features *french fries* and red ‘n’ white stripes. and i am lovin’ it (bada bah bah bahhh… see what i did there?!?!).

all cheesy puns aside ;p these new tops are made of awesome… i have been living in this one for at least the last 48 hours. it may be a testament to the fact that i’d totes eat at least ten pounds of french fries in a single sitting if i had them available, but this design was by far my favorite out of the bunch. so cute!

instead of goin’ with a pair of short shorts, i grabbed for a pair of longer cuffed shorts i grabbed at sn@tch… which is having a sale all weekend long (that ends on the 30th!).

i absolutely *love* sn@tch (ahaha), because for me.. it’s a one-stop shopping sorta store. i love that ivey deschanel embraces so many different styles of clothing — from goth to girly to cyberpunk && back again — all of which i enjoy depending on my mood. if i want a latex bodysuit, sn@tch has it. a frilly skirt, sn@tch has it. cute tank tops, jeans, flowy dresses… pretty much anything under the sun. like it’s catered to me personally, someone whose personal sense of style seems to change with the time of (Read more...)

The 80s and early 90s were a great time to be at school/university.  There was way more emphasis on not being deep, no sense of entitlement and an endless supply of stupidity. Although that may have just been me.

Anyway, I still dress down every now and again, and the new range of Kal Rau mesh goodness made the outfit fell into place, and then I fell into the pool at a new build of a notorious school/university RP sim, which is looking like it may be quite well done when it is finished.

the amount of work put into pose fair this year is absolutely astounding. the build is wonderful, but simple, and there are so many booths… and so many exclusives to take advantage of.

and believe me, this *is* just a handful of the poses out for pose fair. the choice really is awesome. so many brands — some of my own personal favorites && some new-to-me brands too — all in one place! it’s the sort of fair that you should take the time to wander around and demo everything, you never know what kind of awesome stuffs you’ll find!

…it’s a beautiful thing.

the prop i’m using today is a collaboration between evolve && aura — two stores i adore. and when i rezzed this prop for the first time, it made me all tingly inside (’cause yeah, i do get that pumped about poses, okay!?). there was a lot of.. bendiness in the poses. lots of action, lots of sexy, lots of *fun* in these poses.. so i am wearing my best yes, i do yoga and really am that flexible tyvm kind of “sportswear” to show off a few of my favorite poses~

there’s a lot more packed into it than i’m showing off here. the box itself is color change, you can sit multiple people on it, and there is a *ton* of other poses that i’m not showcasing… which are equal amounts cute, flirty and very bendy indeed.

plus, i’ve been pretty much living in shorts in world as of late. i’m sort of.. denying that the temperature could possibly still dip below 60 in march && am fully embracing the coming spring with wide, open arms. s (Read more...)

On to the clothes – I will probably not make a big deal about highlighting many new clothes on this blog, but will try to talk about the brands that I love.  Lapointe and Bastchild are one of the good guys – not specifically for the Gothic wear (IMHO) that they are famous for, but for things like the attention to detail in their jackets.  This is new(ish) one in denim – their marketplace link has them in a few other colours.

I’m also fan of these Mesh jeans from JP DSG with multiple options on the attachments (belt, scarf, keyring etc). Full details after the pics.

Spring, a time to wash away the monochrome hues in a refreshing rain of color.  We see the tapestry around us turn from gloomy grays and spark alive with vibrant pastels, reds, blues, and greens.  Flowers bursts forth from the land and paints the rolling hills with  their blooming palette of color.

As the world washes away Winter’s grays, so should we do the same to our wardrobes.  Don’t let the layers bog you down, peel them away and let the colors cover you like they are covering the Spring time season.

Spring is a time for activities, from baby showers, weddings, holidays, barbecues, parties and vacations.  You need to gear up for such occasions, which is a perfect opportunity to make a few “go to” outfits   (Read more...)

this song is *really* before my time, but i still love it. and my look for today, paired with the in-world location i found to snap my bloggy pics, made me immediately think of it. so *old school* jam with me! \m/

…not that my look has much to do with being in a desert, but.. y’know. ;P at least my location does!

i broke out a couple older items i found in my inventory purge about a month ago. it’s a never-ending cycle, trying to keep my inventory sorted.. with how much of a *shopaholic* i am, it can very very easily get out of hand. i mean, i was all pumped && excited about getting my inventory number way down, and during the process of boxing/deleting.. i went and fatpack’d a new skin. *facepalm* but! i’m proud to say i’ve kept my number.. manageable.. since then. and i’ve been more determined than ever to get some use out of the older items i decided were worth keeping!

the boots i’m wearing, as well as the vest, are things i’ve had in my inventory for quite a while now. the boots are an older group gift from coco (they are still available too, for freeeee!) && the vest is from niniko.. and both of which i decided to keep because i like them so much. i mean, i bought this vest when you could only wear one of each clothing layers at a time… so having a fully scu (Read more...)

i even broke out the elf ears, for the first time in a loooooong ass time. a couple years ago, my avatar was *never* without pointy ears. i wore them constantly && i loved them.. but just like with a lot of fads (i guess it was a fad? i don’t even know. a “phase” in my slife, i suppose would be more accurate), my love for all things elfin faded after a while. i got out of the habit of wearing them all the time && slowly but surely, my avatar was more human than elvish. i still like the elf ears though, and for the right sorta look they just.. fit. i can’t bring myself to box ‘em up, even if i don’t wear them often, and this pair i got *ages* ago from pera are probably my favorites out of all the pairs i own.

my skin today is from pink fuel, which should really be no surprise. pf’s elly skin has been my go-to skin ever since it was released. i *love* mochi milena‘s skins — elly, then ember before it — and i cannot even begin to express how insanely excited i am for the face i’m wearing now, alyx, to be released. around christmas, there was a *tease* skin set out as a hunt prize.. and this one i’m wearing here is currently just *99L* (but i’m not sure for how l (Read more...)

durrhh, it’s two sexy girls in lingerie! \o/

the latest two lingerie releases from rezipsa loc, which are both *so* affordable && adorable on top of it, inspired bff vivi && i to take advantage of the lingerie challenge that’s been *blowing up* the feeds with undies galore. two new sets of undies and two best friends with an excuse to wear ‘em.. seemed like kismet!

btw, the light blue set vivi’s wearing is actually made specifically for this week’s 52 weeks of color challenge… so. technically, vivienne is helping me participate in *two* challenges at once, even if for only one post! ahahah~

vivi && i pranced (yes, pranced) around our sitting room in our panties… and had a blast takin’ some photos. getting *all dolled up* for bloggy photos is fun times, lemme tell ya, but doing something as simple as undies && heels is just as fun! she and i did just recently take some snapshots in our underwears for a recent post… but… i mean… i *really* didn’t think anyone would be complaining too much.

plus my bff is so gorgeous ❤❤❤ i thought some extra eye candy couldn’t hurt!

so to help make myself feel a li’l better, i decided to dress myself head-to-toe in cute. cute hair, cute clothes, cute boots, cute accessories… and y’know… it actually worked. all this cotton candy pink brightened not only my outfit, but also my mood~

these overalls i’m wearing, from monso, were the basis for this look today — they are baggy, wonderfully detailed && *mesh*.. and i had to have them. i really am a sucker for anything mesh lately, it’s spoiled me so badly with how easily mesh pieces are to wear, so when i realized that the straps wouldn’t be disappearing into my shoulders or that the flap wouldn’t move oddly with my AO on like overalls have for me in the past when just made from prims… i was sold. i’m really happy with these, i love the way they fit~
