If you have a special date night coming up and you want to turn the heat up and aren’t sure what to wear, head on over to Entre Mares, you’re sure to find something there that will be just perfect for your evening. The new Emma will certainly fit that order, it is available in blue as shown, as well as a black, purple and yellow. It is lacy and delicate, and yes, it does cover all the necessary parts that need covering. The bits and parts are all well made, and the flex is just right for twirling on the dance floor.

For my night out with my special man, I chose a favorite updo from Truth, and a favorite pair of heels from N-Core. I also chose a favorite diamond set from Alyssa Bijoux, always a great classic to wear on any formal occasion. Add to that, my most fave nails, from Bamboo, in a silvery color to match my shoes and jewelry, and I am good to go be dazzling on the arms of my dazzling man.

Now, no more delay, rush over and grab this gown and the other things, and ..I’m off to do some more blogging and dancing, see you soon!!!

Strange, I had no intention of shooting let alone blogging today. The plan was to log in, clear notices and then hop back out to enjoy some gaming with the hubby. That all managed to get turned around when I glanced at flickr and saw new Dura. I can’t ever seem to resist new Dura, and in all actuality I don’t even try! So a hair purchase later I’m standing in the middle of my snowy lot pond in my birthday suit while rummaging through my closet. And then the memories hit. My fingers drifted over this cute knit outfit from Somnia, and immediately my mind jumped to thoughts of holidays past and trips to my grandpa’s house. And the magical candy dish… Among my favorites were the pink and brown coconut delights that were the Brach’s Neopolitan Coconut candies. So naturally I had to dress up in the outfit that brought on such fond and delicious memories. Mind you, this particular coloring of the outfit comes from My Secondbox, which I believe clears out today, but Sanura will be releasing other colors in the store.

So while I’m sitting here trying to not eat the outfit that makes me think of candy, I’ll be dreaming of the next Dura release. Mmmmm all the hairs. One can never truly have enough hair! Merry merry!

Sometimes life has a way of yanking you under a murky cloud of terrible what ifs and truly doesn’t like to let go. A rather annoying place to be and I’ve been lost in that murk for the last month or so. But I’m finally putting the fears to rest and am so so ready to move on. Farewell to the grey, it’s time for a new light, and today I’m seeing red. A color of passion, prosperity, strength and energy… one I find I rather like surrounding myself with.

So with my red state of mind I logged into SL, determined to enjoy again and off I went for a bit of shopping fun. No surprise that I found myself at Dura making grabby hands at the newest hair. Resistance just isn’t happening there. Much to my delight this delectable new do comes with an add on forelock with color change options. That sparked my variety happy without a doubt. Then off to Sn@tch it was as my Sn@tchy senses told me there were some new tees that I absolutely had to have. Because yes, my senses talk to me like that. “Jen, buy this, buy this now.” Me, I just listen to the voices like a good lass! So naturally I didn’t resist when they pulled me over to Zodiac to buy arrows and a bridle… What’s fun is telling your friends “I just bought arrows and a bridle” and watching them raise their brows. (But come on! Stuff like this should be expected from me!)

Turkey Day is over and now everyone should be recovering and snacking on left overs. I have a few days off to get caught up with my blogging. First I want to mention this gorgeous style from Exile called Beyond the Waves. I love this style and the optional flowers are color change. You just have to click on your nose to bring up the menu. MOCK Cosmetics has released some very nice winter style makeovers (includes eyeshadow and lips). I’m wearing the Smoldering Brown Winterberry. I did mod the lip color in PS because I didn’t like how bright the color was with the WL settings Sal used. I just made it a bit more neutral. But its awesome make-up and you should definitely give it a try.

First up, the new Trinity Dress, available in a variety of colors, and very fun to wear with my fave Bax boots. At the writing of this, the dress is available for a special price of 55L so hurry on over and grab them all. Mesh has taken some time for me to adjust to. I’ve found, for me, what works best is to alter my basic shape to fit standard mesh that works for my shape best, then be sure to wear the alpha layer included so bits dont show where they shouldn’t. I often have to drop things here or there, I just make sure to label each shape so I can remember what it is. It’s so fun, once you find a mesh that works and get your shape set, it opens a whole closet of possibilites.

Next up, for 60L Weekend sale, I was delighted this morning to see PurpleMoon had yet another new dress out, and I immediately ran over to collect the new Cordelia dress. So fun, I can see a lot of wearability in both dresses. You don’t have long tho to grab them at these prices, be sure to hurry over. What happens when you give a girl a beautiful gown and a delicious updo? Well she decides she best be getting herself to the ball, oh yes. Somehow, when that girl is Jen the oddest of dance partners tend to show up. So there I was, lingering at the edges of the dance floor looking simply stunning in the Lavish gown from Apple May Designs, and a pure bundle of nerves fiddling with my lovely updo from Exile. You see, I was worried nobody would want to dance, but to my delight or perhaps to my fright this hottie showed up and requested a dance. Okay, so perhaps he pretty much demanded a dance rather than request. As you can see he was threatening to muss up my hair!

The dance went well enough I suppose, he certainly was quite graceful for such a brute, and then we were interupted as this charming winged wonder stepped up and cut in. I found myself in such delightful company that I truly wasn’t worried about the difference in height. Leave it to say the evening was delightful, with so much twirling about the floor that perhaps my hair got a bit windswept. That’s a good look though in my book, yes yes it is. I may have to do this going out dancing thing again, perhaps. Now, if you’ve not been to Manticore yet, you should so pay a visit, for that is where my delightful dancing partners came from. Ohai there! I just wanted to sneak in while I’m wide awake with NO SLEEP and share a few pretties with you. So while some miserable bug gnaws on every bone in my body, let me tell you about lovely things. First, makeup! Mock, that talented darling behind Mock Cosmetics has released a new line of makeovers, a selection of winterberry goodness that we can blame the lovely Indigo for. It’s true, she’s to blame, you can even see it in the names! Soft eyeshadows combined with those delectable crema lips, it’s a winning combo in my book. Don’t even try to pick just one, they’ll all beg to go home with you. What? You mean the makeup doesn’t talk to everyone?

I found some wonderful happies in teaming these makeups with some absolutely nummerful sweaters from DCNY. You’ll find the D-Line (D for Diagonal!) at the My Attic event over at the Deck. Once the event is over you can find them at the main store for their regular price. You’ve got until October 31st for that. The color combinations are wonderful, and as you can probably tell I’m a bit of a sucker for the earthtones, though the blue and purple, it screamed my name, with real screaming. Each sweater comes with two matching scarves, one in each color, rigged and unrigged. I’m needing these in real life I am!

Just because I needed an excuse to slip into my latex, some horns and a blindfold, the lovely Faery of Studio Sidhe created this fabulous new pose prop. Oh fine, maybe she really did it for the Zodiac event, but a girl can dream, right? I jumped at the chance to tip the balance into my favor and do some shooting. This prop is beautifully executed and certainly lends well to letting the imagination soar free. My vision of justice apparently includes more sharp pointies than just the sword!

Once done with that I went completely off-balance, head over heels even as played with the various aspects of the Druzi horns from The Plastik. The colors are a delight and there are a variety of options between colors for the piercings and their configuration, single row, double row and triple banded. I decided they went quite nicely with Exile’s Release Me hair, which I am adoring in the delectable colors of the Fusion pack. Add in a fantastic latex catsuit from Sn@tch, deliciously SLinky thigh high boots and some fun makeup from Mock and I can’t seem to keep the camera off me! What’s that? You need to go shopping now? Lately however, I’ve had reason, and many occasion, to venture out to formal dance places, which of course means, formal dancewear…and since this is new to me, it’s meant a lot of shopping and inventory expansion. New gowns, new shoes, new jewelry and even new hair! One dress I was more then happy with, is from Sascha’s Design. (Special thanks to Harper! Love you!) I’m not sure anyone equals Sascha Frangelli’s skill when it comes to creating floof, and wearing it is sure to make any girl feel like Cinderella going to the ball with Prince Charming. To top it off I found an updo from Exile that worked perfectly, with it’s tendril of curls that don’t quite all fit in the bun, and a recent jewelry release from Maxi Gossamer.

So many new things to discover in SL! It’s been so fun, and I look forward to sharing more new finds and loves. See you on a dance floor in SL soon!!

It’s a nice chilly eve, think I’ll sit back with some soup and get warm. I think tonight I’ll have some TeaSoup, oh yes. One of my favorite soups, I swear! My chilled fingers had a lovely time today playing with one of Tea Soup’s newer pose sets (Oh yes, she’s back and even with an in world location again!) The This Girl I Knew set is giving me particular glee, my overly active imagination wants to write a story for each of them. Perhaps one day, eh? It’s one of those nights where sleep just isn’t going to stop by for a visit, so I’m up and have gotten myself into quite a mesh, oh yes. So naturally I’m going to share. Apple May Designs has new nomminess available for your shopping glee, the Nancy dress which is perfect for a night out dancing or even a night in while getting all snaphappy. The new nom comes in three colors, the black you see here as well as purple and blue. Teamed up with a bit of Love in necklace form, also from Apple May, and my favorite thigh highs from SLink and I’m good to go, or stay! Now I simply can’t even think of going out without the perfect finishing touches, and thanks to the magic that is Mock, my eyes and lips are delectable perfection. The eyeshadow is Jeweled Lake from the Glitterpop Eshadow collection and my lips… well those are a combination of colors from the May Lipcolors, Rose Rouge with Twine as the base. And then! After all that I took things a step further, stepping myself right out of my comfort zone and into something decidedly new for me, a new shape. This is the Kira shape, a new release from Anna Shapes. I usually won’t step away from my own shape, being rather attached to it, but this little beauty spoke to me. There are many things I take joy in with SL, aside from my overly obvious joy of shooting myself. One of these things is putting together goodies from my closet for looks that please me. Yes, part of that pleasing is indeed cause it leads to shooting myself, not gonna deny it. At the moment I’m having some particular joy with some recent releases from places I love. Leezu has released the DouceMon Jacket, a delight in cozy comfort that makes me want autumn here RIGHT NOW. There’s a delightful textural detail to the back of this piece, you’ll look fab coming and going! I’m having mad love for the green, partly because I like green, partly because it matches the little bow on my undies. What? I’m supposed to wear clothes with the jacket? Bah, this is more fun!

Now, can we talk about these horns? I have been having so much joy with these, the Arachzis horns from The Plastik. SOOOOO Much appeal here. They slice, they dice… Well, used properly they could! But seriously, there are a good number of colors to suit your desires, and the HUD allows you to change the rope, rings and trim. There’s a matching circlet, and there are add on packs you can pick up to change up the selection of opal textures. I can’t seem to get enough of horns, so do hope she makes lots more, yup yup! Vintage Fair 2012 will soon be upon us with over 250 stores showcasing creations covering anything from the 1920s to the 1980s. Egads, my 80s are vintage! So, 3 sims of vintage delights, a flickr contest (Read all about it and the fabulous prizes HERE) and so so so much shopping to be done. The Chic Management team will be bringing it all to us starting August 4th, and the fun doesn’t end til the 29th. The Ariel Calico tops are pure win with eight colors, one for every day of the week and then some! Tonight I am having happies, and these things are certainly part of the happies that I am having! Apple May Designs has released the Janessa dress, one I would certainly want to wear in RL if I had it there, no doubt. The lines of this give me glee. The delectable Versage hair from Lelutka’s Hair Fair selection (I am loving these fades!), a yummy necklace from LouLou & Co which can be found both at the One Voice event and in her mainstore and of course the beloved Mockness adorning my face… I am ready to go forth and be delicious. A few words placed upon a tshirt is a great source of grins and giggles for me, so the new Sayings Tees at The Plastik give me a good bit of joy, they do. The chaos panic disorder shirt in particular makes me grin as my RL hubby has that on a shirt that he’s not allowed to wear out of the house. It’s full of holes, you see. But back to Plastik! These tees come in packs with three different sayings, as well as a selection of different ties and undershirts you can combine to create different looks. Would you look at that, there’s that variety stuff I love so much again. I decided to rock this shirt with one of my favorite pairs of earrings from Amorous and the newest hair from Dura. Okay yeah, it’s a male hair release, but I’m loving it just as much for me as for the guys. The eyes are the newest mesh goodness from Mayfly, the Liquid Light series. I could easily get lost in these pretty blues. And in fact, I’m going to go do just that now!

While my real life self sneezes her brains out thanks to seasonal allergies, my pixel self yearns for fall, when ALL THE THINGS turn ALL THE COLORS! Leezu has given me a nice taste of fall, in a delightful little number suitable for a breezy late spring day as well! You get three versions of the mesh scarf poncho, each set consisting of the regular color, a sheer version and then the lace. Variety is wonderful stuff, it is! I’ve teamed it up with a scrumptious mesh mini from Pink Inc, and of course this was a good time to pull my Bax boots out. The hair is a recent release from Dura, with a texture changing bow. It gives me glee. Now I leave you with this look and another bit of Leezu fun I had while I run off to wash all the things! Happy shoppings!

I figured since my last post featured pretty much all grey items, that this time I’d splash in some of the more colorful offerings you can find at the Wear Gray Market. The event raises awareness about brain cancer and funds for the American Brain Tumor Association and runs until April 22nd. First up are some nomliciously colorful threads from Somnia, where you will find the Cranioiselle top, a sweet little number with a ruffled top and delightful bow accent. Teamed up with a pair of the Criss Cross Waders, both donation items you will find, I’m set to run around the grid doing… well everything!

And once I’ve done everything, it’s home again to change so I can do it all again. Sn@tch always gives me much glee, and this time is no exception with the Sweets Corset, fabulously girly colors and a lovely floral accent. Girlish glee, oh yes. And egads yes, that is pink you see me wearing. It’s just that good! I’ve teamed this hot little number up with the Zia denim from Cynful, and while you can’t see them here, these come with something I adore, a variety in cuff types. Boot cut, flared and skinny, you get them all!

So, after all my colorful running about I feel I need to stop and take a moment for myself, a quiet subdued moment. Oh fine, I’m pretending to be a goddess, okay? The Wear Gray event is underway and will be running until April 22nd. This event is raising funds for the American Brain Tumor Association and awareness for Brain Cancer. There will be DJed events most days, as well as plenty of wonderful shopping and a 10L hunt as well.

Today I’m showing off a few items that I found to my liking. Iren has come to the market with a selection of pretty dresses that you’ll find in a grey with lace as well as three greys with floral prints. These can also be teamed up with the leggings you will find, which come in a variety of patterns, as well as a lace cuffed grey pair for the 10L hunt. And if you would rather have a nice comfy top, Iren brings that too! I’ve teamed these up with some lovely earrings from Sigma. I’ve shown the Chantal earrings here in grey on grey but you will find an assortment of colors to be had as well. You just may need them all. I know I’m rubbish at picking just one color! And speaking of color, Mock has come to bat with a selection of eshadows in grey, light blue and pink. The colors are significant as they each represent a different facet of brain cancer awareness. Grey – The grey matter that is often taken for granted until brain cancer touches our lives. Blue – The memories that can and do get lost due to this disease. Pink – Hope, the hope that is kept alive, the hope that one day those touched with brain cancer will be well again.

Here’s today’s taste of some delectable bits from Erratic for Fashion For Life. Designer Erratic Rain brings a lovely selection of club style wear and jewelry to the grid, and all with a wonderful sense of color. Be it brights or darks there’s no denying the fun here. I’ve fallen madly in love with the Melanie turtleneck, the color combination strikes glee in my happy little heart, all the way to the tips of my new and ever so yummy horns. (Yes, I want to eat everything today) Dear Erratic, I need this in ALL THE COLORS! Teamed up with a pair of her toasty hotpants and my beloved thigh high boots from SLink, I’m ready to go dance my hot pixel arse off. I promise I’ll be careful not to gore anyone with the horns, which you can find at Rue.

The Katy bustier, well there are few words needed here to express my joy with this piece. Brown! Oh yes, my favorite. Touchably shiny, and brown. And perfect to slide into when you grow just a bit too warm from all that dancing in the turtleneck.

Of course, things can get pretty warm, so you best make sure you’ve some pretty lingerie to dance the night away in, eh? This Becky set will do ever so nicely.

Oops, seems my shirt vanished on me. Must’ve gotten entirely too warm… But what a good opportunity to focus your attention on these delicious striped hotpants! Go forth, and shop!

I love my face. And I love it even better when I get my Mock on. Mock has made with the deliciousness again with a couple of new makeups I simply could not resist. Best of all, they work so nicely across so many skins, which is a good thing as I swear I’m part chameleon! And how yum are these earrings eh? Three different lengths to choose from on those.
