Just the other day I was thinking that I must look for some blogger challenges as it is a while since I have done any. They are a great way to stretch yourself as a blogger, as well as being fun to do, and I love seeing other bloggers interpretations of the meme too. So I was really pleased to see that Strawberry Singh has restarted her much missed Monday meme, with the Second Life Yearbook Smile Challenge which you can find here
. If you want a laugh at Zsa's expense, click here
to see my first ever meme, again one of Berry's.
This meme challenges you to share a photo of your avatar smiling yearbook style. Ok, I can't deny it, Zsa is a bit shy and not a good smiler, but she said to tell you that she was smiling inside! She also has no experience of Yearbooks as we don't have them where I live, so please forgive us if this is not an authentic Yearbook photo.
Anyway, in the search for Zsa's smile, I tried out the toothy smile on various huds but they were seriously creepy, so in the end I settled on the basic smile on the Anypose Expression hud, one of my "can't do without" tools that I have probably used in 98% of my blog posts.… Read the rest

Today I am indulging in responding to Berry’s latest meme: “My Blogging Journey.
- Which electronic devices do you use to blog with? I mainly use my desktop pc. I have blogged from my iPad before and didn’t care for it too much. I don’t mind the WordPress app though, I just prefer blogging from the comfort of home.
- Do you have a mission statement for your blog, if so, what is it? A mission statement? I had never considered an official mission statement. Being a business major in college I find the notion of a mission statement rather formal. I started this blog as a rather public online journal of my adventures in SL. Since becoming active in the SL fashion community I have refined the intentions of my blog with more of a fashion slant, but ultimately it is still a place for me to be who I am and share my thoughts on things with any who care to read.

What poses fit you?
What do you love in a pose?
Berry asks us all to Strike A Pose
for her weekly meme this week.
I have 3 favourite pose makers, in no particular order.... so I flipped a coin and decided to list them in reverse alphabetical.
R) Rack Poses
Even before I started blogging, I knew Rack Poses
, at least the poses that had captured my attention at the adult store. If you know what I mean.
It was only later that I realized that Kirsty had PG poses also, and in the past half year she's put a lot of her energy into expanding the PG pose store
, and joining many events.
This pose I'm using now is from her Sam
Collection of male poses.
K) Kuro In Motion
I had been a fan of Luana's furniture store for a long time, and when she said she was going to try making poses I was excited to see what she would come up with. Since starting Kuro In Motion
, she has created quite a collection of unique poses. Her work has always seemed to capture much emotion, and often they include props, such as the mirror in the photo I've included here, from her pose Shattered.… Read the rest
I am a bit late with this one, as I have been moving home and studio in sl, so have not been able to work on blog posts as much as I would like. Anyway, the latest challenge from Strawberry Singh, the Black & White Portrait Challenge, is right up my street as for as long as I can remember I have had a real love of black and white photography. You can find Berry's original post and challenge instructions here
Here is the original:
I don't use Photoshop, I do my cropping etc in Picmonkey, which is where I created the black & white pic - but as a lover of old photos, including a sepia, I checked to see if they had that option, and they did, so I thought I would share all three. Out of the three I have a definite favourite - if you do, let me know, I would be really interested to see if anyone agrees with me! Credits:Body

The lovely and talented Strawberry Singh put forth a challenge
to find someone to interview us and then write about that interview. I haven't done a challenge from her in a while and this one seemed fun. I wasn't sure who would want to interview me, but then my prim son Blocky volunteered in lieu of nap time, so I let him do it. Here is the interview:Me:
Oh! Wook at Mommy's widdle investigative weeporter! Blocky:
mmmmmmmmmm bbbppppptt? Me:
Great question. It's actually pretty easy to juggle being a pretend prim mommy with blogging because I don't take you out of my inventory all that often. Blocky:
mwwwwahhhh pffffffffffffffffftttt? Me:
Well, mostly because it's not easy to find a babysitter. And between running Thorne Industries, shopping, exploring, doing hunts and spending time with your daddy, we'd need a sitter all the time. Besides, unlike a babysitter, an inventory folder is free. So there you go! Blocky:
