Movie Character Meme

I was recently watching a movie and then Mr. Jefferson and I started chatting about how much we both loved it so of course I had to get us to dress up as the main characters and turn this into a meme! Can you guess which movie I’m talking about and which characters we are? Meme […] The post Movie Character Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

#SecondLifeProblems Meme

This week’s meme idea was given to me by none other than the infamous Mr. Draxtor Despres. The idea is based off of the real life hashtag #FirstWorldProblems where people share and complain about problems that aren’t actually real problems. It’s all kind of hilarious. You can check out the #FirstLifeProblems and #FirstWorldProblems hashtags on […] The post #SecondLifeProblems Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

#298 Strawberry Singh’s Yearbook Smile Challenge Meme

Just the other day I was thinking that I must look for some blogger challenges as it is a while since I have done any.  They are a great way to stretch yourself as a blogger, as well as being fun to do, and I love seeing other bloggers interpretations of the meme too.  So I was really pleased to see that Strawberry Singh has restarted her much missed Monday meme, with the Second Life Yearbook Smile Challenge which you can find here.  If you want a laugh at Zsa's expense, click here to see my first ever meme, again one of Berry's.
This meme challenges you to share a photo of your avatar smiling yearbook style.  Ok, I can't deny it, Zsa is a bit shy and not a good smiler, but she said to tell you that she was smiling inside!   She also has no experience of Yearbooks as we don't have them where I live, so please forgive us if this is not an authentic Yearbook photo.

Anyway, in the search for Zsa's smile, I tried out the toothy smile on various huds but they were seriously creepy, so in the end I settled on the basic smile on the Anypose Expression hud, one of my "can't do without" tools that I have probably used in 98% of my blog posts.… Read the rest#298 Strawberry Singh's Yearbook Smile Challenge

What’s your Digits? – Take 4: The Fitted Mesh Revolution

I wasn’t planning to do the Digits Challenge this year, but several people have asked me when I was going to do it again so I figured this would be a good time since this week I’ll be busy packing and preparing for my trip on Friday. Because of this, I probably won’t be able […] The post What’s your Digits? – Take 4: The Fitted Mesh Revolution by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

20 Personal SL Questions Meme

Have you ever been in a social setting (like a club, party, etc…) where you meet someone new and start up a conversation and then have them spew 20 questions at you one after another without hesitation? I often get very uneasy in those types of situations because I am a somewhat private person, in […] The post 20 Personal SL Questions Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

Second Life Friends List Meme

For this week’s Monday meme I thought it may be fun to grab a friend from your inworld friends list and then both of you can answer the following series of questions about your lists. It’s optional though, you can just answer the questions on your own if that’s easier. Meme instructions: Grab a friend […] The post Second Life Friends List Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

My Blogging Journey (A Berry Meme Response)

CREDITS | Dress >.::Dead Dollz::. Blakey – Achromatism – Mini Dress |Headdress > ** DIRAM ** SCARLET Mask |Boots > r2 A/D/E enbi boots[black] Hello Readers! Today I am indulging in responding to Berry’s latest meme: “My Blogging Journey.
  1. Which electronic devices do you use to blog with? I mainly use my desktop pc.  I have blogged from my iPad before and didn’t care for it too much.  I don’t mind the WordPress app though, I just prefer blogging from the comfort of home.
  2. Do you have a mission statement for your blog, if so, what is it? A mission statement?  I had never considered an official mission statement.  Being a business major in college I find the notion of a mission statement rather formal.  I started this blog as a rather public online journal of my adventures in SL.  Since becoming active in the SL fashion community I have refined the intentions of my blog with more of a fashion slant, but ultimately it is still a place for me to be who I am and share my thoughts on things with any who care to read.

My Blogging Journey Challenge

(raw animated gif) It was April of last year when I did my “Why do I blog meme?” where I asked a series of questions about why you all blog. For this week’s Monday Meme I wanted to do a part 2 of that because I had more questions. Meme instructions: Copy and paste the […] The post My Blogging Journey Challenge by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

Simple Man (Standing On A Poseball)

What poses fit you?
What do you love in a pose?
Berry asks us all to Strike A Pose for her weekly meme this week.

I have 3 favourite pose makers, in no particular order.... so I flipped a coin and decided to list them in reverse alphabetical.

R) Rack Poses
Even before I started blogging, I knew Rack Poses, at least the poses that had captured my attention at the adult store. If you know what I mean.
It was only later that I realized that Kirsty had PG poses also, and in the past half year she's put a lot of her energy into expanding the PG pose store, and joining many events.
This pose I'm using now is from her Sam Collection of male poses.

K) Kuro In Motion
I had been a fan of Luana's furniture store for a long time, and when she said she was going to try making poses I was excited to see what she would come up with. Since starting Kuro In Motion, she has created quite a collection of unique poses. Her work has always seemed to capture much emotion, and often they include props, such as the mirror in the photo I've included here, from her pose Shattered.… Read the rest

Flat Ebbe Linden Meme

After I did my Flat Rodvik meme last year, I knew as soon as I heard that Linden Lab has a new CEO that I was eventually going to do a meme about him. I did make a Flat Ebbe this time as well, but I didn’t take him around the grid on a date. […] The post Flat Ebbe Linden Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

Advice for Second Life Newbies Challenge

I’ve been a bit preoccupied the past few days with some work so because of this, the Ebbe meme I had planned will have to wait for another week or so. Luckily, Mr. Skell Dagger sent me a few meme suggestions this morning and this one seemed as if it would be quick and easy. Second Life Book Cover Meme

I have been pretty busy with RL stuff so I wasn’t able to blog my Friday Find last week, but will continue it this week. You can blame this meme on Bear Silvershade and Botgirl Questi. You see Botgirl has a twitter account which I religiously follow because she tweets the most thought provoking and […] The post Second Life Book Cover Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

The Sexual Meme

It was around this time last year that I blogged my first Monday Meme. On March 11, 2013 I asked you guys to share 7 sl facts with me. It was just a goofy idea I got after reading one of Tymmerie’s plurks that day. Never did I imagine I would continue to do these […] The post The Sexual Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

New-to-me Meme

(click here for raw shot) Several months ago, Trixie Bumbo contacted me with a suggestion for a meme. The Book Meme

Usually when I’m feeling down, the first thing I tend to grab is some chocolate and a favorite book that I’ll sit and read to distract myself and get my mind off things. I’ve been doing that a lot lately and figured a book meme would be an interesting one to share and discuss. I […]The post The Book Meme by Strawberry Singh appeared first on StrawberrySingh.com.

Berry’s Black and White Portrait Challenge

I am a bit late with this one, as I have been moving home and studio in sl, so have not been able to work on blog posts as much as I would like.  Anyway, the latest challenge from Strawberry Singh, the Black & White Portrait Challenge, is right up my street as for as long as I can remember I have had a real love of black and white photography.  You can find Berry's original post and challenge instructions here
Here is the original:

I don't use Photoshop, I do my cropping etc in Picmonkey, which is where I created the black & white pic - but as a lover of old photos, including a sepia, I checked to see if they had that option, and they did, so I thought I would share all three. Out of the three I have a definite favourite - if you do, let me know, I would be really interested to see if anyone agrees with me!

Blocky Has Some Questions

The lovely and talented Strawberry Singh put forth a challenge to find someone to interview us and then write about that interview. I haven't done a challenge from her in a while and this one seemed fun. I wasn't sure who would want to interview me, but then my prim son Blocky volunteered in lieu of nap time, so I let him do it. Here is the interview:

Me: Oh! Wook at Mommy's widdle investigative weeporter! Blocky: mmmmmmmmmm bbbppppptt? Me: Great question. It's actually pretty easy to juggle being a pretend prim mommy with blogging because I don't take you out of my inventory all that often. Blocky: mwwwwahhhh pffffffffffffffffftttt?  Me: Well, mostly because it's not easy to find a babysitter. And between running Thorne Industries, shopping, exploring, doing hunts and spending time with your daddy, we'd need a sitter all the time. Besides, unlike a babysitter, an inventory folder is free. So there you go!  Blocky: bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbtttttttttttttttttttttfffffffff?… Read the rest
