Sirena was a young woman leading a carefree life. She had a good job, no worries and the men courted her, though she did not really care for them. All in all, she did not really care for anyone but herself, using the same excuses we all tend to use. “That is none if my business.” “What can I do about it?” or “I don’t want to interfere.”

She lived close to the graveyard and when the weather was fine, she took a shortcut there from the bus home. One evening, she saw a woman on a bench, crying bitter tears. The woman looked at her, but Serena quickly looked away. When she was about to leave the graveyard an old witch – by the looks of her – stepped into Serena’s way and asked straight away “Why didn’t you ask the woman why she cried?” Serena was a little scared and mumbled, I thought she was mourning, this is a graveyard after all. What can I do about her grief?”

The old witch looked at her sadly and shook her head. “Dear girl, you need a lesson in compassion. I hex you not to be able to leave the graveyard until someone shows you the sympathy you denied that woman.”

Serena did not know if to laugh or to be scared, the old woman had disappeared as sudden as she showed up. Serena headed for the exit but ran into an invisible wall. She tried to get out at another spot, but to no avail.

Only thing I have to say, is I wish the tone for number 5 was a tad bit darker, overall I think is really pretty.

Something simple today, and later on I’ll get really down right detailed! New releases from Sn@tch, Zombie Suicide and deals. I will say Al Vulo’s skins at The Dress Room are awesome. I am not a skin person. I will wear a skin over and over, because I am a tad bit picky about the tones some use when it comes to darker tones. This is a bit dark for Syn, but I will say its beautiful! I love the color, I love how her eyes look and lips. Its really pretty, even my girlfriend Brawen was like YUM. Then I was like I wanna do something simple cute with it, Sn@tch and Zombie Suicide.

Sn@tch released an outfit called Toon Time, and its very eye catching. I giggle every time I see the polka dots. Zombie Suicide released some new plugs for her Mesh ears. They are horned!! I will say, the number 5 size horns are HUGE so I went down to a number 4 and they look fine.

oh, the past, people always think things were ‘better’ and ‘kids these days are xxx’ etc, it even happens on the internet, and SL, where the oldbies hark back to the days when everyone was lovely and SL is getting worse, plurk is getting meaner, and people don’t treat you like they used to.

Except it’s not true, none of it, the past is the same as today, as bad and as good as always, people can be shitbags, people can be lovely, you only notice the bastards when it’s you and yours that are in the firing line, convienently forgetting all the times you were either a part of a pile on gang or stood by and was silent while your BFF attacked people for no reason.

Etchaflech & Voluptia featured in the Maniera Magazine

For the actual Maniera Magazine December 2012 (http://manierasl.mymaniera.com/) I had the great honor to be featured in a wonderful fashion spread of Lovely Miwako. She made a special corset themed article about how different corsets can look.

We all got sent different corsets from Etchaflesh and Voluptia and Lovely asked us to style them in a vintage non typical lingerie manner. As well she wanted us all to choose one tattoo that we wear through the whole spread.

For the first picture Lovely placed me on the floor besides SterlingZen. The corset I was wearing for this picture came from Voluptia and everyone that knows me… I am a corset addicted even in RL, so to style the corset in a non lingerie way for me was like if you tell me I just won in a lottery *grins*

I love a lot the different vontage stylings from the 50′s to the 80′s ( it still scares me that 80′s are called vintage now too^^) and so I was going for my favourite urban look as well with the heavy boots and the tattoos and some fishnet stockings and torned stockings. The huge glasses and the pinup hair added the perfect finish for the look in my view.

On this picture, I had the great pleaure to be with Katherine Comet a wonderful and classy Lady that shines at my side with a wonderful corset styling that reminded me a lot on the old racing pinups I saw so many times on that collectable retro/vintage, metal signs from coke or even others… not sure how they are called in english, mo (Read more...)

The Tooth Fairy

Every child knows that when they lose a tooth, The Tooth Fairy will come and whisk it away. She is the pretty fairy all dressed in pink and frills, but did you know there is another Tooth Fairy? She is a specialized one. She is the tooth fairy who takes the teeth that have fallen out due to fights, or sports injuries. She has been sort of bored this year though because winter is normally her busy time.

Here is the poor thing waiting in a hockey rink for the players to come. Sadly there have been very few brawls on the ice this year, but I won't get started on what she had to say about that.

You see most Faries carry the teeth in a little pouch all hidden away, but not her, oh no! She prefers to carry the teeth she collects in tiny bottles hung around her neck. I would show you the collection she has, but it is creepy to say the least. Well now you know a little more about The Tooth Fairy World.

Wicca’s Wardrobe: Scary Story

A pretty woman was serving a life sentence in prison for murder. Angry and resentful about her situation, she decided that she couldn’t spend her life in prison. She began plotting ways to escape from the jail.

She became good friends with one of the prison caretakers. His job was to bury any prisoners who died, in a graveyard just outside the prison walls. Whenever a prisoner died, the caretaker rang a bell, which was heard by all of the prison inmates. The caretaker then got the body and put it in a casket. Next, he entered his office to fill out the death certificate before returning to the casket to nail the lid shut. Finally, he put the casket on a wagon to take it to the graveyard and bury it.

Knowing this routine, the woman devised an escape plan and shared it with the caretaker. The next time the bell rang, the woman would leave her cell and sneak into the dark room where the coffins were kept.

She would slip into the coffin with the dead body while the caretaker was filling out the death certificate. When the caretaker returned, he would nail the lid shut and take the coffin outside the prison with the woman in the coffin along with the dead body. He would then bury the coffin.

The woman knew there would be enough air for her to breathe until later in the evening when the caretaker would return to the graveyard under cover of darkness, dig up the coffin, and set her free.

there’s *new* stuffs from some of my favorite brands && all of it is so perfect for halloween. or, y’know, everyday-wear if you’re me.

the skull-face tattoo && the multi-ring ear piercing i’m wearing above are new as a collab by nuuna’s and haus of darcy… and i cannot tell you how hard i fell for both. the piercing is partially mesh — the long spiked piece in my earlobe is mesh and awesome — and includes the facial tattoo in varying degrees of opacity for both men and women.

it’s available @ the fair event, the collection just rolled over to some really great new goodies, and if you’re anything like me.. you *need* this set. it is to die for (haw, no pun intended).

now, the skin i’m wearing underneath nuuna’s beautiful skull-face…

…is just one of *many* released from glam affair. this appropriately named dark side collection features some beautiful makeups on a range of skins from dark and mysterious to light and haunting. and they are absolutely gorgeous.

My very first crush was a guy named Joey. I was 12 and he was 20 years old. He was tall, with dark hair and eyes and had one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen on a man. Joe was always totally sweet to me, and being that he was older but not like parental older we had a lot of fun together. I'm sure he knew I crushed on him, I'm not entirely good at keeping feelings like that under the radar. Well, the thing about Joey was he always talked about how he wanted to make a difference. He would tell me about how his parents struggled to learn English when they decided to come to the states from Puerto Rico and it reminded me of my father. How they worked hard every day of their lives just to make a decent life for themselves and their family. They learned English, held steady jobs for many years and had a home in PA after awhile. Joey was inspired by them so much so, and loved this country for the opportunity it gave his family and the life they were able to make for themselves. One day, he sat me down and told me he loved me. That I was very important to him, and he told me all these stories and philosophies in his head because he knew I listened and felt that even though I was young…that I understood what he was trying to help me understand about life. So I’ve been lurking on SL and plurk. I have to admit I miss SL just a tad bit, but not enough to fully play it around like the clock. Just enough to log in, hunt or shop just a bit. So I’ve seen these boots on marketplace by HoC Industries. I am not that does not like Mesh, in my opinion it sucks. Its good for the average shapes, but once a big girl finds something its pretty darn hard to get it to fit.

Surprising these boots fit and within budget. Comes with an awesome hud, easy to use and so forth. Love these boots. That’s it for my little mesh rant moment.

Maybe it's because I have been sick the last week or so that my cranky is rolling into my styling? Oh well. I am reusing the poses from the last post so they will look really familiar if you read the post yesterday. If you didn't well why not?!?!? Here is the look....

My eyes kept closing so I went with it. I could sit here and say it was all on purpose, but that would seriously be a big fat lie. It's just the way it happened. I am wearing some meshy goodness today, from head to toe. I'm not kidding, hair- mesh, boots-mesh, clothes in between - mesh, and well a little fishnet thrown in for good measure.
