Lazy Sunday for Kids is back this weekend with an assortment of clothing, accessories and landscaping (of sorts) designed for Second Life kids. A few of the items in this round were created for the participants that will be attending Camp Hardknock next weekend. All Lazy Sunday for Kids items are priced at 75L or less. The sale runs only one day with prices disappearing at midnight SLT. Grab them while you can!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! I hope you all are excited for this holiday weekend to kick off, I know I am even with all the rain I am getting in RL where I live from good ole’ Hurrican Isaac. Not that I am complaining we were in a drought so the rain is definitely a good thing. What makes this Friday even better is a new round of 50L Friday for the kiddos!! As usual there is a cuteness overload but the catch….you only have today to grab the deals and yep you guessed it all of it is only 50L. Limited 50 For Kids

Hey there! There is a new bi-weekly limited event just for kids called Limited 50. All items are exclusive and never to be sold again once they are gone and the round is over. There are only four days left of this current round which ends on the 15th , so I would get over and get what you want while there is still time and items remaining. Lots of great quality designers also, definitely not one to be missed. Dani and I (Addy) tackled this event together being our first post on Seraphim, it was lots of fun and we cannot wait to show you lots more! Have a great time shopping! Kisses!!!!

Live.Laugh.Love Family Fair 2012 – Autism Speaks

Yesterday, as I was browsing through iheartsl I ran across a blog post by Spencer Christenson talking about the recently opened Live.Laugh.Love Family Fair 2012 – Autism Speaks, a charitable event to raise funds for and awareness of those afflicted with autism. Autism is a mental condition present from early childhood that creates difficulty communicating, forming relationships, and using language and abstract concepts. It affects 1 in every 110 children. I’m sure you’ve all seen the puzzle pieces, on car magnets and elsewhere, chosen to represent the challenges that face those with autism.

Every designer at the fair has created at least one item where 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Autism Speaks charity, and several other items where 75, 50, or 25% will be donated. The Autism Speaks charity was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization. Last year 632,617L was raised, benefiting the My Stuff Bags foundation.

The fair – with a focus on children and a fun country theme – will also feature concerts, a family RP picnic/beach day, a silent auction and a live one (100% donated – one of a kind exclusives), and there’s lots of other fun stuff scattered around as well! (I highly recommend seeing how long you can ride the bull – yee haw!)
