Between Friday and Sunday we saw the start of several events that should be any fashionista happy. CHIC² opened yesterday, celebrating 2 years of CHIC, who’s birthday is today. 150 new and old CHIC shop participants are taking part in this small celebration.

This is a charity where all donation items give 100% or 50% of the sale price to Médecins Sans Frontières. Culture Shock opened on May 4th as many of you probably know. The chosen charity for this event is Médecins Sans Frontières (for the second year). Bela Tolsen of Tutti Frutti has released a set of mesh pants and tops for this years Culture Shock. I’m wearing the Believe mesh pants and the top in Baby Blue (I think that’s the color of the top, SL won’t let me log into double check).

When I first saw the Courage pose from oOo Studio at Back to Black the song that popped into my head was Leap of Faith by Michelle Branch.
Any type of relationship you have, be it in SL or RL, is a leap of faith. After a bit over a year partnered Salvatore and I are taking it a step further and having a wedding tonight. This was a tremendous leap of faith for me, but I have never lacked in courage.

Fishy Strawberry recently released some pretty cool items. At this week’s Fashionably Late, Fish Strawberry has the Moto leather pants available. There are alot of leather pants out there, but the textures aren’t always so great. I really like the texture on these, it gives the pants a realistic look. The pants come in 4 colors at L$100 each. A great deal.
