The Pink Ribbon Fair has begun. And it’s for a great cause. The Pink Ribbon Fair started on August 4th and run until August 25th, 2012 (4 weeks). This Fair is a fashion charity event for breast cancer. Designers have created 1 exclusive pink item for the cause. All the earned profit from those exclusive items will go directly to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer. Yeah! 100% to charity! If you like pink and you want to support this cause for someone close to you or someone you know who was diagnosed with breast cancer or a survivor please take a moment to go down there. View original post on Model Musings]]> Molichino’s Pixie dress is such a “feel-good” dress for several reasons.  First, since Pixie is a Hope for Emilia offering,  your shopping dollars are raising funds to help Italy’s earthquake victims.  Second, I have found you simply can’t go anywhere with this dress on and not get attention and compliments.  Pixie is so well made, with quality linen, stitched seam details, and a girlish shape.  It is casual, chic and classy.

I have found the Hope for Emilia posts for Molichino’s offering wonderfully varied, as well.  It is a real testament to the versatility of this dress, as you can dress it up or down and play with many accessory accent colors.  I love clothes that let me be creative, and become new all over again, depending on the accessories I add.  Molichino’s Pixie is that kind of dress.

The 7th Annual Hair Fair opens today with hundreds of new designs for both men and women.  I always enjoy going to these types of events not only to see what my favorite designers have placed out but also to discover new (or unheard of to me) designers.  I found quite a few participating in this year’s collection that will be added to my ‘frequent places to shop’ list.

This event also helps raise money for a very worthy charity called Wigs for Kids.  This organization’s mission is to provide wigs to children who have lost their hair (i.e., via chemotherapy) in an effort to help them feel ‘normal’ and to feel better about themselves.  The percentage of each purchase that will be donated to Wigs for Kids is listed in each store.

There is a Hair Fair group in SL where designers will be sending out demos of their hair for you to try BEFORE you go! It will save you loads of time, especially since you will be able to match the demos to the pics in this post to see which ones you even want to bother trying on! The Chandelle sim is holding a small color block hunt. Find hangers for cheapie items ( most around 5L, 10L etc) Chanelle, Censored, and Exclusivity are all taking part in the event and have hangers you can find for the hunt items throughout their stores. 
Censored has an interesting group gift out as well that you can pick up( no join fee)

Jewels Islands is alovelly residential sim with a beach look.

I foundmyself hearing the sound of sea and staring the pretty waves from theboardwalk.

You canalso take a look at the aquarium or hang out at the club.

This placehave a sandbox, but  you can rezz yourstuff in the whole sim, so it is perfect for those romantic pictures.

This kindof place was exactly what I were looking for to blog this outfit, it can be thehat, or the summer colors, anyway…almost everything I’m wearing is from Kawaii Fair.

It started lastSaturday and will last until April 28th. I guess you will see morekawaii stuff until this fair ends.

The fair isHUGE! And I found so many cute things to blog that I’m afraid of not be able topost everything in time.

Kawaii Fair, the newest in a line of fair style events dedicated to a specific style or genre. Kawaii when simply put is ADORABLE! The bright colours and cutesy cartoons and designs, this style is well known for, stem from a Japanese term meaning “cuteness”. I am in love with this style, and when I saw that a Kawaii Fair was heading into SL I couldn’t have been more excited, and this fair did not disappoint!! A collection of designers have come together, in a space filled with rainbows, sparkles and cute little animals to bring you a selection of items in the Kawaii style. Prices do vary, as do the number of exclusives per store, but everything is so cute!! I know I will be adding a lot of it to my huge wardrobe!
Some useful information then… The first picture in the gallery is the location map, I have tried to match up my photo numbering in the gallery with the numbers on the map. Photos marked -1-, for example, and are written in pink on the map, are the larger stores around the landing point, then the photos labelled 01, as an example, are the stores around the edge numbered in black on the map. Picture 00 is of the Kawaii Bazaar, this is an area where some of the designers have placed discounted items between 0L – 10L! Don’t miss this area. There are also a number of stores with Freebies or Dollarbies, those will be listed in the notes attached to the pictures! The event runs from today, until APRIL 28th!

The store is stuffed full of clothes and skins as well as a heap of accessories to glamorize your vintage style. The dress from Retro and the Necklace from Sugar and maybe even the rings from [EY:NO] will definitely have me reaching for my proverbial purse and throwing money at them in the very near future hehe, but there is so much here that would, if you fancied trying the vintage look for a while, be the perfect place to start your vintage collection! From TODAY until April 30th, a circular hunt will lead you through a selection of a handful of awesome stores and scenery, some of which I had never heard of before, in search of little purple floral sculpties that will be set for sale at 0L each! There is about 67 Stores in total that are taking part, some of these are currently still not ready, but we wanted to let you get a jump start on hunting for the other crazy hair and I will update the pictures as and when I can!!
