I was very honored to be chosen as a blogger for Fantasy Faire 2013. I hope to show the items that the designers sent to me to blog in a way that does them justice. I’ve said this before but I will say it again, I am constantly amazed at the creativity of the people in SL.

These are the Aithein Wings made by Sei Minuet of {Lemon Tea}. They are beautifully made, giving an ethereal, otherworldly effect to any outfit you choose. And the poses that I am using are made by Filomena Quinnell of !Musa!. These items are available at The Fantasy Faire. Please visit and help us fight cancer. I lost my father to cancer in 2003, and we really need to wipe out this disease.

I’m watching the Three Stooges movie as I’m doing this blog. They certainly picked the perfect people to play the parts of Mo, Larry and Curly. The part with the lion and the peanut almost made me fall off of my chair.

I dug into my SL closet today and found this outfit from **Angelwing**. It is the Gentle Fairy Pink Gown. The hair wreath is part of the outfit, not the hair, by the way. The hair is new-ish from Truth and is called Zuzka. The hair bands are color changeable so I could match them with my outfit. We all know how happy that makes me! The skin is new from Belleza and is called Ava. I found a perfect shade of lipstick in the lipstick pack to go with my outfit. Squeee!

So now that my blog is done I am going to go out into real life and enjoy my day off from work and the four inches of snow that we had last night with my dogs and watch them play. Then I’m going to see my neurologist and rheumatologist and I’m going to top it off with a delicious dinner of roasted chicken and potatoes and vegetables.

Huge sale and group giveaway at Angelwing

It's been pretty quiet at Angelwing lately, but a huge sale and giveaway has just been announced.

Angel has made most of her older creations free for group members (group join fee of 50L applies). There are dozens upon dozens of gowns, silks and fairy outfits on offer. Prices have been slashed on newer releases - everything is 25L. That is a ridiculously low price for these gorgeous creations!

Petites especially are spoiled rotten - their group gifts consists of some relatively recently outfits such as petite versions of the Timeless outfits, released for last March's Fashion for Life event.

Happy Summer…Happy Summer Separates

Today is the longest day of the year for the Northern Hemisphere and the official start of summer. So, happy summer to you all, and…happy summertime separates. It is time for brights and lights, beginning with silky mesh Baila pants from Blueberry. Available in solids and a variety of prints, these are flow-with-you pants that are casual enough to layer over your favorite bathing suit or silky top, like my Oasis Champagne Silk from AngelWing. Fashion For Life 2012 is finally open to the public. It's the most important fashion event directly related to Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society.

'[...] All donations are given directly to the ‘Relay for Life’ general fund which benefits the ‘American Cancer Society’ and its thousands of beneficiaries who rely on the charity for support and advice.
Fashion for Life is a hundred percent not for profit, and all organisation, building work and coordination are driven by the work of its volunteers which helps to maximise donated money. [...]
This year, Fashion for Life spans an incredible TEN lag free sims with over 200 stores selling the latest fashions, accessories, hair and unique designer items made especially for this event. There will also be gacha areas, a hunt, a raffle and a SALE- all with the end goal of raising funds for the American Cancer Society via SL. [...]' (from the official Fashion For Life Press Release)

Now some quick and practical tips before I show you the great stuff!
The sims are laid out in a cross formation (map here), its center being the It's Time sim, this means you will need to explore the 4 sides to visit them all. I will provide direct slurs to the stores I blog, but you may land at the landing point of the sim where they are located. Just follow the red arrow till you find them!

I officially fell in love with the PETITE's world, so I'm showing them again today, and sharing some useful info and tips if you ever wanted to join this magic world.

Angelwing adapted some of her beautiful fairy outfits to the PETITE avatar by Yabusaka. Here I'm showing you my favourite, Fall Fairy, that you can purchase only at the PETITE Headquarter at Yabusaka.
After checking the pics, you may want to have a look to a list of PETITES Resources, a collection of stores where you can find items that can be resized to fit the tiny avatars, put together by the lovely Dojiba Sabra. Contact her if you're interested in the PETITES world and to get the new lists as soon as she finds out new stores!

TIPS FOR YOUR AVATAR:
Are your feet or hands a different color from the rest of your body? First make sure they are from the same tone as your skin. Put on the skin tinting hud that came with your Petite and choose the white box at the top, just under the word Presets and that should make them match.

Greetings! I am back (pretty much, winter is definitely over and I'm bound to spend less time on SL for the next few months than I usually do when it's freezing outside a dark after 4pm). I have started roleplaying in a new fantasy-medieval sim and I figured I'd need new clothes... Don't we all? Since I've been of the "in character" game for a while, I had to get some help from my friend Shay, who always know what I mean even why I'm not sure myself, fashion-wise. She sent me to Angelwing and she just made my day!

The Anakarina set includes the dress, ribbons and wings and it's free! I'm pretty sure the whole blogging community has featured it already, but I figured it would be nice to show a reminder.

Piercings set is Ellabella's Signs (80l$)

Should you like something a little more daring (and red!), the Spring Camisk (yes, it's supposed to be a camisk, which, if you didn't know that already, is one of these gorean slave outfits, but since no gorean slave has boobs below a F cup, and mine are an A - or maybe a little B, not sure - the effect is totally different.)
The outfit includes the hair flower and is sold for 100l$ only!
(It also comes in other colors, if red is not your cup of tea)
