I bought all of BENTS Vintage Fair pose sets and decided to use the Escher Prop today because it really showcases the look I was going for with the Agnes Finney Remember Me separates.  The Escher prop has picture frames on the one wall of the set with a stair way that seems to never end.  The frames are without pictures and it creates an illusion of being alone and forgotten.  On the bonus side, there is a ton of poses built in that allow for everything from slightly silly hanging off a step to the more dramatic poses like the ones shown here (more pictures and information after the cut)

Agnes Finney’s, Remember Me separates are not mesh and she proves once again, that she is one of the top notch clothes creators on the grid.  From the flowing skirt textured with lace to the inclusion of pants that allows for the lacy feel to come through when the pose move the legs out of the skirt to the tiny little flowers and buttons she has on the corset…the outfit is beautiful and the definition of vintage.

I was blog perving this morning, reading through the mass of blogs that I enjoy looking at with my early morning coffee, when I stumbled upon a fundraising event that seemed fairly interesting. The Ashraya Project, according to the official SL event blog, is “an organization based in India which operates with the purpose of providing aid to Indian children in need and abused women through the implementation of various projects.” This project is a sales event with a glamourous twist, all of the designers taking part seem to have a very high fashion edge to them, if you want beautiful gowns and interesting pieces then this event may open your eyes to some designers you had never heard of before it certainly did that for me!
The photos in the gallery below are of any exclusive or donation item that I could find, some stores are still setting up and others do not seem to have a donation item in their collections, yet I have taken pictures and made notes of as many of the ones I could find for you as possible. Also, although I have ordered the pictures there is no set order and if you wander up and down the rows on the two sims you will not miss out on anything. Prices here do vary, but there seems to be a lot of beautiful items here, with a percentage of marked items being given to the Ashraya Charity. Vix and I teamed up to bring you coverage for an awesome charity event that opened today.  Wear Gray for a Day 2012 is a two week event in which funds are raised for the American Brain Tumor Association.  This organization’s goal is to fund research that will lead to improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of brain cancer with the ultimate goal of someday finding a cure.  Over eighty designers are participating in the event with event exclusives and 100% donation items.  There is also a hunt to participate in; the hunt object is a little gray brain.  If you would like to see the prizes you are hunting for, please check out the official Wear Gray blog.
