and it *all* started with this cherry print skirt.

i picked it up from teefy @ the new fameshed collection because… it’s cherries(!). this print is so cute and i love the way these skirts fit. high-waist skirts are always super sexy, especially when they’re nice and short like these are, but i chose to wear the skirt underneath a large ‘n’ comfy hoodie (from ispachi — this light blue color is wonderful!) for a more cute, casual look.

these shoes from g field were *perfect* for this look… because while i grabbed the black pair, most of the shoe is totally customizable. the upper half, the toe, the sole && the laces are all texture change, so i was able to change my shoes to match my red && blue look. these shoes are fantastically made (as is everything from g field), and really nice for casual wear.. and the fact that i can match them to just about *anything* make these a great bargain.

…well, i guess you could, and i’d certainly try, but y’know. just go with it.

vip group members for oOo studio were treated to this grungy loft posebox the other day && it inspired the entire look you see here. pose props, for me, are usually hot or miss — i tend to like them, but only if they’re unique enough to really stand out from finding a nice in-world backdrop. and this one, with the included poses and all those dynamic shadows cast through the windows and doors, was definitely a hit with me.

also released the other day are these pierced && gauged ears, from mandala. it was instant love for me, i *had* to have them, and they are worth every linden imho. the options alone for wearing these make them fantastic — there’s tons of textures and colors to choose from for every single part of these ears (including the *adorable* kitty faces i chose here for the plugs) as well as several sizes of gauges in either plugs or tunnels. they look amazing on and are packed full of bits ‘n’ bobs, as if i’d expect any less from goodies from mandala~

the newest releases from burley included this amazingly wavy hat-and-hair combo && i immediately fell in slooooooooove. the brushed-over bangs and this hat are just ridiculous amounts of awesome and i pretty much had to have it the moment i saw it.

so i put together an *urban casual* sort of look, befitting of my new hat~

i’m even wearing *two* freebies with this look — one of which, the glasses, i snagged @ swag fest from epic. i love a good pair of glasses && these oversized frames were not only *1L*, but they’re also infinitely color-change. i liked the way the dark gray checks here matched with my sweater (by erratic, which is out for the new round of fameshed!), but i just as easily could’ve gone with red or yellow or piiink… a fully customizable cheapie like this is awesome!

the necklace i’m wearing is also a freebie — a group gift from the jewellery exchange. i spied this li’l panda around tesh’s neck on the free*style blog && immediately went to snag him. this panda is *adorable* and for a gift is very nicely made. and did i mention the group is free to join, too? and that there’s a few other gifts there for the taking?

i have a serious problem with gatchas — i will play and play and play until i get what i want (which, more often than not, is the rares inside, ahah). but this time? i really lucked out when it comes to the things i won! yaaaay me and yaaaaaay for my luck~

the pretty peach top by ison, the *adorable* bow’d mouse ears are from auxiliary, the grocery bag packed full of macaron cookies is by bcc && the gorgeous magenta eyes are by insufferable dastard — and all are spoils of my gatcha-ing. and even luckier for me? they all worked awesomely together!

i paired it all with some *new* mesh jeans, also from auxiliary (and are out @ fameshed) and a pair of peachy-pink metallic heels from g field in the *most* perfect matching shade… and i toted my full grocery bag all around an incredibly adorable sim called itutu, which provided a very fitting background.

even though i got pretty lucky when it comes to my gatcha goodies, i *still* cannot help but wonder if i played just one more try.. if i’d get that rare i’m pining for. hmm…

…allarik && me are in our underpants. i’m in my unmentionables to show off new awesome stuffs, but he’s just eye candy (you’re welcome). and i suppose, this time, the snapshot speaks louder than my words ever could, hm? ;p

right! so i’ve been needing an excuse to get in touch with my sexy side and the latest mesh releases from onyx wear && red mint helped me do just that. lingerie is the thing i probably own the least of in my virtual closet, but pretty underthings like this make me *totally* happy to change that.

i honestly thought that bras ‘n’ panties were probably the one thing i would not like (or need) in mesh — clothing layers seemed to do the job fairly well. but that was *before* i tried them and these sets from onyx wear are so sexy it hurts. little details, like lace trims and teeny bows, when combined with how well they fit and how *realistic* it looks on… they are just delicious and i’m afraid the few pieces of clothing layer lingerie i do own won’t be getting much use anymore.

there are lots of patterns to choose from (i think my personal fave out of the bunch is the candy rainbow set in the upper left pic, so cute!) and are def worth checking out. i love that the bra and panties are separate mesh pieces, which made fitting a breeze for me since i could mix-and-match sizes. plus *nothing* is sexier than a bra you can (Read more...)

and as if the build up to the holiday wasn’t bunny && pink enough… here are bff vivi && i to bunny and pink it up even more!

nothin’ like an entire holiday’s worth of excuses to break out the bunny ears! \o/

vivienne && i enjoy the pink just as much as the next girly-girl, but we rarely indulge the frilly and cutesy side of pink. luckily for us, katat0nik seemed to have all of our pink rabbity needs covered…

vivi’s dress is actually part of an entire costume (complete with a hood, hair, and bunny ears not worn here) that looks like a perfectly detailed cake, it’s so pretty. the ribbon details, the collar && the shape of the skirt all make for one big bit o’ cute… and the dress was a nice && easy match to the socks and shoes, since everything was from the same store!

both vivienne && i are of the mix it and match it mindset.. typically, if things we buy come as a full set or outfit, we’ll take pieces and mix it in with other items in our virtual closets. but when things work together as nicely as these do, there’s no reason to go out of your way *just* to mix ‘n’ match.

so! [a] limited opened the other day, which is a collaborative effort between aura && atomic, with lots of adorable limited edition goodies. t-shirts, earrings, skins, bags… and, by far, my favorite thing offered… this mesh sweatshirt, complete with its *super* cute bear-ear hood.

out of all the color choices there, i had to go with pink. i just.. had to. for me, there is little else that screams *cute* quite like pink && this hoodie.. is pretty much the epitome of cute. it’s a li’l oversized, looks so soft and comfy, is even lined with a contrasting fabric with a *cloud* pattern, and those ears!(!!!!!) does it even get cuter than that!?

i also grabbed these cloud-shaped earrings, which come in a pack that includes a whole series of different faces (my favorite being the pair i’m wearing here — the clouds are making xD faces!!), as well as a pack of t-shirts (that are decorated with sushi, and i bought them solely because one of the designs displays a message that reads is that a sushi in your pocket or are you just happy sashimi? omgggggah!!), but this hoodie… i dunno… i’ve been wearing it around in world for two days straight now. i figured i ought to blog it since i can’t seem to put anything (Read more...)

…no, i don’t mean in that way! but to use raw, unedited snapshots.. minus all the fancy schmancy photo editing. and since i enjoy blogging challenges, i decided to participate, too~

now, to be fair, there’s not a whole lot of difference between these raw snaps here (i only cropped ‘em, put a border on ‘em && spliced ‘em together for a collage, that’s it) and the pictures i usually blog. my image editing skills are… pretty much non-existent. i’m def not as talented as some people out there on the feeds, and there is a *lot* of talent out there, but the most i ever do is soften some jaggy lines i get from odd avatar mesh contortions… and maybe brighten things up a bit by messing with color saturation.

that’s…. really it. other than for photos where i want to edit, like a contest entry for example, my usual bloggity photos are not post-processed to death.

needless to say, this challenge was a fairly easy one for me since i don’t do a whole lot of editing to begin with!

challenge aside… i’ve got two things i’d like to share about the look i put together for today.

they’re new from gos && are out @ the fashion for life event (that’s where i picked ‘em up, but they are available at the mainstore, too!) and i absolutely adore them. they are… delicious boots. i also blogged the eyes from insufferable dastard available at the FFL event yesterday, and am wearin’ a second pair in another gorgeous color in this look today… but i thought since i didn’t mention the event at all in my last post, that i would today.

cancer… hits very close to home for me. i lost my dad to cancer 14 years ago && even to this day, it is something i still struggle to deal with. he went through chemo, through countless surgeries, and spent more time in the hospital in his last few months than he did at home. he was sick for a very long time and when i lost him, words cannot truly describe how much hurt i felt. how much i still feel.

so an event like fashion for life… i went with bff vivi and we bought donation items and, in our own li’l way, supported a cause in the hopes that maybe our lindens can help prevent another family going through what i went through. that maybe someone else’s fath (Read more...)

i really, really missed bubblegum weekends. it’s fun for a change to run around with kool-aid colored hair! and i guess gogo && i were on the same wavelength when it came to bubblegum weekends this round, ’cause we kiiiinda match! but this *insanely bright* and adoooorable lingerie set from katatonik out @ the crush on you event was far too cute to pass up. even if i wasn’t tryin’ to do lingerie && nothin’ but until vday, this set would have found its way into my inventory. i *love* the colors, i love all the accessories (there’s li’l attachable bows for just about everywhere! \o/) && i love the fact that you get exactly 342348 pieces to wear the set in different ways.

lots of the items i’m wearing today were discounted heavily either through an event or through a sale && it’s a beautiful thing!

the latest store that i’ve heard of to be having a *huge* sale is ricielli — all the clothing, shoes, && accessories are all marked down to just 50L. there’s lots of high-fashiony goodness there at a nice, steep discount && i went the other night (with bff vivi!) and snagged several things for super cheap.. including the top, necklace and belt i’m wearing here in this look. i also grabbed a couple jackets, some jeans, a handbag, and a dress… because… well. why the hell not? x3

bff vivi and i happen to think sparkly gold && deep magenta work just as well.

even though she && i live on a very beachy sim, complete with water right outside our front door… we decided we’d get into the holiday spirit and transform one of our rooms into *everything christmas*. it may not match, exactly, with the theme of the rest of our house (or on our sim, for that matter), but it looks cute! and thanks to lisp, where there’s all kinds of 10L holiday goodies to be had outside the store, and to ancayi for the centerpiece of our room with the tree && train combo, i think we happened to pull off the holiday explosion quite well despite our summery house! \o/

so naturally, we had to dress appropriately… for, perhaps, an impromptu christmas party?
