Hey there, I am sick irl at the moment so I am sorry if this post makes no sense or whatever. I am wearing a few of the new releases from Mon Tissu . They released these amazing rigged mesh boots and I love them so much! They also released this gorgeous jacket and these tights. It is worth checking out for sure.

My skirt is a mesh release from Beetlebones at 4.44.444 and it was just 44L$. I know a lot of the people are anti-mesh, but I am kind of loving it so far. I think a lot looks amazing allready and I cant wait for more mesh items. Ofcourse there are some things I dont like about mesh but well, nothing is perfect

Free*Style's 4th Anniversary Event, 4.44.444, ends on 10/14 so it's last call fellas on some fabulous, funny and fine items for outrageously good prices. I’m sure you’ve heard about 4.44.444. Salvatore and I braved it on Saturday, when the lag was at its worst. Thank goodness for Firestorm and the derender feature. I didn’t get much but two things I did get were the Stripped Queen tops from Somnia and the elephantastic earrings from undefined lilies. I just had to get the matching earrings to the elephantastic necklace.

And to put the icing on the cake, one of my favorite pose makers releases a crap load of new poses. EverGlow has been a long time favorite for well made natural looking poses, with minimal distortion.

Fall Weather

I found some nice goodies in fall colors that I wanted to share. The top is actually a dress by Cupcakes but I realllllly wanted to wear my new mesh skirt from Beetlebones so I combined the two. My short 'do is from Action and the streaks are color change. Several other colors of the style are included in the pack as well. My adorable glasses are from Haut.Monde and are only 4L. :D I have glasses in RL and I love them so I have a fondness for them in SL. Check out the rest of the items too because they are super cheap!!

When I put together this look, my first thought was: “OMG, Ophelia must have looked like that!” Truth is, this Pixeldolls romantic dress (with mesh, which means I can use Viewer 3) and the Mango, Mango skin (only L$4 at the 4.44.444 event) dedicated to bloggers who spend their nights posting pretty looks instead of sleeping, are a match in a not so usual way.

And I must say this about the dress: it’s not completely mesh. It has usual texture layers, but the skirt prim is mesh. I used a pose (by EverGlow) to show you how it moves around the body. But the pants layer hides the fact that the skirt is not totally suited to my shape. Just as it happens with sculpties and flexis. So yes, this is my favorite mesh thing, so far, because it makes my shape look exactly like my shape :p

I added a MADesigns hair and a lovely scarf by Je Suis to complete the look. And when I took this close-up, I decided that, in an even weirder way, it looks like a picture of me when I was two

October started with an event that I already love, though I only took a short ride there and didn’t get to check all vendors. Plus two hunts that you should not miss!

Neither did I but I was still honored to be a part of their very special event named 4.44.444 to celebrate their 4th anniversary! 4.44.444 is Open!

The time has finally arrived! 4.44.444, Free*Style's 4th Anniversary Event is open. TP here to visit us! Items are marked 4 or 44 or 444 L though you may also find a few freebies or dollarbies floating around, too.

Just a few helpful hints. The event runs for 2 weeks so we hope you have lots of time to make it there. It ends on Friday, October 14th at midnight. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and leave off any unnecessary scripted items, poofers, tummy talkers and things that will lag everyone and yourself. You may need to turn down your graphic settings or your draw distance to reduce your personal lag. There is a large landing point and it is in the very center of the build. Move as quickly as you can to one of the 4 rooms in front, behind or next to you. You should be able to then get your bearings and start to take in all the textures. Expect pileups and bring your sense of humor. However, I have a huge pet peeve of people going afk at landing points. It's akin to trying to waiting for someone to quit texting to move their shopping cart. Regarding AFK in general; for the next 2 weeks, this event is NOT the place to do so, please! Lots of people really want to attend and the only way everyone gets a nice turn is if we work together. If you are busy, and trust me, I understand busy, please come at another time! We want everyone to visit, but the sim only holds so many people.

A Little Preview of 4.44.444

October 1st marks the 4 year anniversary of the Free*Style blog, one of the first SL blogs almost fully dedicated to free (or L$ 1) items. Since this is a huge occasion, there will be a big event that opens on that day, with over 100 great designers participating! All items will be either L$ 4, L$ 44 or L$ 444 – and a few freebies as well! I’m giving a little peek at 2 items you can get your hands on (maybe with more shortly); my glasses and sweater will both be available at this great event.

The sweater is from Somnia, where there will be 2 packs of sweaters in 4 stripey colors for L$ 44 each. The glasses from * December* are available with 3 attach points for easy wearing, although I’m not sure whether they are L$ 4 or L$ 44, but they are so well crafted that either is a steal.

No landmark is available yet for the event, but check back here soon or visit the Free*Style blog for more information.
