Skin Fair: Tuli

Tuli has a beautiful new skin out at the Skin Fair and she’s a definite must to demo if you like pale skins (but naturally there are darker tones than this as well). Silentsparrow also has a new release out, another beautiful tattoo, and I am showing an early look at alaskametro‘s next release for Whore Couture. read on >>>

Dinosaur Knight

It all started with the latest release from lassitude & ennui for We Love Role-Play. I was struggling to find a good outfit that would show it off and in the process ended up following some weird lines of thought. Like, what if you crossed A Song of Ice and Fire with Victor Milán’s The Dinosaur Lords, a new fantasy series that I read some months back which, yes, has knights on dinosaurs. Its kind of a wacky concept and I am still not entirely sure how I feel about the book, but it definitely had potential. I mean, what is not cool about riding a dinosaur? read on >>>

Skin Fair: Kismet by alaskametro

Skin Fair opens on the 11th of March, so expect to see a lot of skin here in the upcoming posts. Which of course may not be that different from what the upcoming posts usually would have anyway… The first skin I am taking a closer look is the new line from alaskametro, a very nice hybrid skin that mixes photosourcing and handdrawing. I am also featuring releases from Roawenwood, Luxuria, The Plastik and EMO-tions. read on >>>

Ethereal Lounging

The March round of We Love Role-Play opens at 3 pm today. I wont be home by then, so I will have to check it out in a few days, but fortunately I have some shiny things to show you as a sneak peak. Judging by the previews, this round will have a good mix of items, but the jewellery may be particularly outstanding this time as evidenced by these releases from Luminary, Aisling and ieQED. You are also getting a better look at the Rebecca skin which Adam n Eve will be releasing the Skin Fair. read on >>>

Alchemy Returned

Alchemy Immortalis are back. While their beautiful sims have not returned with them, they have opened up an in-world shop once again, and already there is a huge new release available—a massive collection of Art Deco inspired rings. There are few things as hard as rings to do justice in a photo, so please make sure to take a look at the rings in their store where they have been rezzed out and can be viewed in amazing, intricate detail. What I will try to do in this post, however, is to tell you a bit about them (as well as the other items featured in these shots). read on >>>

Curved Lines

I have to say, the Marylebone Flat from Barnesworth Anubis has inspired me to play around quite a bit with different furnishings. It is a really interesting space which works very nicely for a lot of pieces I’ve wanted to cover for a while. So, in addition to some sexy upcoming lingerie from Alaskametro, a cool necklace from the Plastik and new hair from Wasabi Pills, this post also features furniture from Rustica and Noble Creations. read on >>>

Benched

Its been rather dreadful weather today, so the idea of slipping into something comfortable in front of a fireplace certainly appeals. Of course, the latest outfit from Aisling, available at the Whimsical event, is perhaps more dead-sexy than comfortable. Also featured in this post are new releases from Noble Creations, Libertine and Barnesworth Anubis. read on >>>

Druidic

The Whimsical event has just opened and it looks like it has a great mix of items, some gachas and some regular purchases. One of the gachas is a very elaborate set from the Plastik. I added on a tattoo from Fallen Gods (from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival) and headed out into the woods. read on >>>

Forest Creature

The latest release from Silent Sparrow, a beautiful tattoo, inspired me to ditch my clothes and head for the woods wearing nothing but the latest set from ieQED. I opted for summery woods this time, however, even though it is still very much winter here in Sweden. But I do like having our sim setup to cater to different seasons all at once, even if it perhaps lacks in cohesion that way. read on >>>

A Feast for Two

After a brief absence, the Muses are back with four new gowns and it wasn’t easy for me to decide which one to pick up. But I managed to make up my mind and the gown I did pick went beautifully with Aisling’s release for the upcoming round of Enchantment which opens later today. Also covered in this post are Fantasy Gacha Carnival pieces from Velvet Whip and SWaGGa as well as a new hair from Magika. read on >>>

In the Boudoir

Alaskametro is participating in two current events, On9 and anyBody, with a quartet of new releases that go very nicely together. The Plastik is also at several events right now, and here I am looking at a release for The Thrift Shop. Finally, I am featuring some lingerie from chocolate atelier. read on >>>

Guardians

The Fantasy Gacha Carnival has opened up a new round. The theme has the potential to be more than a little iffy concerning IP rights, since it is billed as “Game of Thrones vs Star Wars”, but fortunately there are quite a few original and unproblematic gachas available at the event. Granted, these do tend to be the ones with the least direct connection to the theme, but in this case that doesn’t bother me since they are quite fabulous fantasy items. For my first post, I am taking a closer look at the very impressive entries by Aisling and Alchemy. read on >>>

Sleek Bindings

Today, I’m taking a look at another gacha from Objets d’Amour, namely Roawenwood’s Sleek Bindings. In addition to that, I am showing three We Love Role-Play releases, from Aisling, Calico and Noble Creations. read on >>>

Lectured

I have ended up with a lot of naughty bits and pieces waiting to be blogged, in part due to the new adult gacha event called Objets d’Amour, brought to Second Life by the creators behind ROMP. My first pick from there is a lingerie set by Luxuria, which thematically went very well with a previous ROMP item by Dutchie. read on >>>

Violetta’s Wolf

I wasn’t quite sure in what direction to take this post, but then the new wolves from Jian for We Love Role-Play (which opens today!) landed in my inventory. All of a sudden, a more gothic scene was born, in a dark and lonely manor out on the English moors. A grand bookcase from Noble Creations helps set the scene and a few pieces of heirloom jewellery from the Plastik finishes off the look. read on >>>

Inspired

Tomorrow, the Gacha Garden opens up for another round and judging by the offerings from Roawenwood and Luxuria, things might get a little steamy there. I’ll be giving you a look at both some of the regular prizes and the Seed of Inspiration prizes, which are granted to all who play a specific gacha 20 times. read on >>>

Crystal Garden

The Gacha Garden opens a new round on February 1st and the Plastik is participating with a striking jewellery set. I decided to head down to our new little oasis (still under construction, but getting there) to show off one beautiful colour combination on the rares from the set. read on >>>

Noble Creations has a new furniture set out for the Fantasy Collective and it inspired me and Ran to bring out the outfits we bought at Genre’s Regency round, from the Muses and Last Ride, respectively. read on >>>
