Bug-a-Boo shoes

For this month's Mix, I made curly toed witchy shoes, because, after all, tis the season.  There are versions to fit System Feet, and versions that are made to fit Slink Mid Feet for the foot addicts.  They are modify and unrigged, so you can also fit them to larger than size 0 feet, and MAY be able to fit them to other brands of feet (but I have not tried this, so I make no guarantees!)

They come in 9 colours (including a ridiculous pink!)

Skeletal Grip at The Nightmare

The Nightmare is a haunted house with a hunt, and a shopping event for the month of October.  There are all sorts of spooky things to find there!

(Thank you Katat0nik Pidgeon for taking amazing photos I stole!)

For my hunt item, I made a skeletal hands heart tattoo, with Slink and Omega appliers as well as System layers.

And there are also mesh skeletal hands to molest you to be found there! They are texture change with 10 options (white, old bone, silver, gold, copper, bronze, light wood, dark wood, grey, and black), and come in 5 different hand poses to grab various parts of your anatomy- or whatever else you desire.

(His hair by Dura, all other hair by Clawtooth, other tattoos are ~silentsparrow~ Eclipse tattoos, earrings also by ~silentsparrow~, eyeliner by .:Senzafine:. and Schadenfreude, lipstick by La Malvada Mujer and Schadenfreude)

To be found at The Nightmare in October!

More Acedia

The Acedia Chandelier and Table from Festival of Sin have moved home to the elephant, and have been joined by two more tables, with more drawers.  Like the single drawer tables, they come with and without webs, and with dusty and clean textures.  The drawers can open and close on touch in the 2 Land Impact versions, there are also 1 Land Impact versions included that don't open.

Thessaly Jackets

There's a new round at Collabor88, Muted Coven, in a new larger build to set off Collabor88's fourth year.  My cover prefers softly swirled jackets with optional hoods (to be worn up or down).  The Thessaly jackets come in 5 colours, in fitted mesh sizes for boys and girls (additional larger sizes to work with larger Standard Sizes, and some larger sizes in general).

To be found this month at Collabor88!

Autumn Bounty at The Arcade

Autumn has come to The Arcade, and I'm celebrating by sharing some of my harvest with some animals of the forest as well.  The Autumn Bounty set consists of some tasty foods of fall and some critters who have some to share it with you.

Many of the animals are animated (just a little bit!).  The squirrels enjoy perching on shoulders, and heads, as well as hanging out around sims.  The candles can be carried around and held, and anyone can touch them to light or extinguish them.

The rare toffee pears will give out toffee pears to anyone who touches them.

To be found at The Arcade for the month of September!

Festival of Sin: Acedia

The Festival of Sin is back for a second opportunity for some quality sinning.  My chosen sin this time is Sloth.  I'm too lazy to clean, so there are cobwebs.

The Acedia Single Drawer Side Table comes in 3 versions with two main body options (2 shades of wood, black and white, and gold and silver leaf), or the uberpack with all that plus all the extra things I did because I wanted them even though they might be ridiculous.  Ok, they ARE ridiculous and I didn't feel like making vendors for all 14 colours.  All have a HUD that lets you choose between clean and dusted textures for the base options, and all 14 colours for the trim and drawer handle.  (Please read the instructions to use the HUD, you must touch them a particular place to activate the texture change!)  They also all include 4 versions: a clean version with an opening drawer, a clean version with no moving parts, a cobweb covered version with an opening drawer (with a web in it!), and a cobwebbed version with no moving parts.  All are 1 Land Impact each.  You can also touch the cobwebs to hide or show them, to choose just how many spiders are hanging out in your place.… Read the restfestival of sin

A Garden of Daydream Bulbs

For this very special Daydream birthday Collabor88 round (can you believe Collabor88 is 4 years old already?  I sure can't!  And I've even been in each birthday round, time flies so fast), I made lightbulbs that light up with dreams.  There are three of them: a flower, a tree, and a butterfly.  When dark, the flower is a bud, the tree is bereft of leaves, and the butterfly perches motionless on the glass.  When lit, the flower blossoms, the tree blooms, and the butterfly takes off and flutters in its enclosure.  (Thank you hyasynth for the gif of them in action!)

Each lamp comes in 7 heights, from no pole to floor lamp, and with a lightbulb not in a fixture- each 1 LI at original size.  There are two versions of each- one is scripted to cast light when lit while glowing and animation, and the other only glows and animates but does not light up (in case the cast light does not fit the lighting scheme of your decor).  The lamp fixtures have 4 metal options (silver, gold, copper, and black), and each interior object has 8 texture options for your choice of colours.… Read the restdaydream lightbulbs

The Nivlets

Mix is a new event, aiming to bring back the main stores.  Every month, a bunch of designers either put out a new release, an exclusive recolour an older release, or put an older release on sale.  You use the HUD to skip across the grid for that month visiting all the wonders on offer for you.

From me, some buttons!  The Nivlet Barrette, a barrette with a button and a feather (bundle o' texture options of course), and the Nivlet Bracelets, buttons on a string to tie around your wrists.

The second part of the ORIGAMI event has now opened, the game and hunt!  I really enjoyed the game, I'm loving these story based HUD games that people have been developing recently.  While you have the HUD and are exploring the world of the supernatural, you can also find the coins for the hunt part of the event.  Each store with a gift (the gifts are at booths in the mall area) has a little basket, once you have found their coin and registered it in the HUD you can touch the basket at their booth to receive your gift.  I made a little octopus in a bag to carry, the prize from a goldfish scooping game that was, perhaps, a little peculiar.  The bag can be looped around a finger of your left or right hand to be carried around with you, as he gently undulates up and down.

Grab a HUD at the starting point (you may want to descript a bunch before going, there is a script limit!) and play the game!

Tips for playing the game: Walk everywhere, do not cam!  (Your HUD will light up red in the center when you are walking close to a coin, for one, but you will also get more of the full effect if you walk around!)  Touch everything.  Talk to everyone.  Follow what they tell you when applicable.  (And talk to people again!  Sometimes they have more to tell you!)  To save your progress in the HUD, remove it and reattach it periodically (say, after you finish each quest), so you will not lose ALL your progress if you have a hard crash (Read more...)

Fishcakes Heels

Seasons Story ALSO has a sea theme, timely to go with Collabor88's current mermaid round.  I'm towards the Northeastern corner of the sim, on the outer walk, and you will find chunky fish heeled shoes there. There are 10 different base shoe patterns to choose from, and each shoe comes with 15 different painted fish heel colours, 10 trim colours, 12 colours of starfish button, and the option of tan or black soles.  If you have more than one or the pack, you can also mix toes and sides for yet more options!

They come with 3 versions: one for System Feet, one for Slink Mid Feet, and an extra tall one (with more fin!) for Slink High Feet.  They are unrigged and modify, so you may find that they fit other feet as well, but there is no guarantee.

At Seasons Story this month!

Koi-nietzko tights

Mermaids abound at Collabor88 this month, and I continue to name things words that no one can ever spell.  This time it's sort of an obscure reference of a memorial to hya's poor betta fish who passed away, crossed with "koi" since, well, fishy (and, one hopes, at least THAT part will be easier to search for!)

Semi sheer tights with sheer-er scale cutouts, in 12 colours: 6 packs of 2, or a pack of them all.  They come with Slink Physique appliers (which will also work on the feet- make sure you have the current version!) and Omega appliers, as well as traditional clothing layers.

ORIGAMI Summer Festival

ORIGAMI is having a summer festival, a night event with stalls of all sorts.  I have come to love this pair of sims (the second is not open until the game opens on the 10th), so I am very happy I was able to participate in their event this time!

I made little hatchling Tengu for it- big nosed Tengu with wings, bird faced Karasu Tengu, and little birdlet Karasu.  The rare Karasu have little crowns and their eggs are gold and silver- the crowns and eggs are texture change with choices of gold or silver on touch. They all inquisitively watch the world from the safety of their eggs, but are not quite ready to finish breaking out and join it.

You can hold the eggs in left or right hand, to carry your little hatchling around with you.

There is also another event that starts July 10 on the sim- which is how you can get the items at the booths with the baskets full of gold coins.  For now, they are just there to tease you, as you can't get them until the 10th!… Read the restorigami festival

Summer (Fruit) Punch

(bar table by Stockholm&Lima, beach hut by Trompe Loeil)

This month's Collabor88 is welcoming the summer, with a pop of colour.  I decided that the best thing about a tropical summer retreat is the drinks.  What can I say, I'm a sucker for cocktail swords.

The drinks can be held and sipped (2 fisted drinking is a-ok), and there are rezzable versions that give out temp rez drinkables to whoever touches them.  The plastic markers and swords and umbrellas and straws are texture change with a HUD, 10 options for each.  All glasses have markers because a) they are the other best thing about fancy drinks, and b) you wouldn't want to lose track of which one was yours, would you?  (Also figuring out how to design the octopus so it could hang from multiple arms was pretty fun.  The mermaid isn't quite the standard design and can be hung off a glass by her tail too, though I only put them on lounging upright.)

(retro buffet by floorplan, beach hut by Trompe Loeil,
lazily stitched together photo by please don't make me take more pictures again)

There are non alcoholic bubbly summer sodas- melon and root beer are floats, the rest are garnished by their flavour.  Each one comes in versions with and without the cocktail umbrellas.… Read the restSummer punch

Kiwi at The Arcade

Arcade has rolled around again, and this time there are chubby little flightless birds to accompany you- animated kiwi that can stand around, sit, or wander.  You can wear them- on Center, they become follow pets, toddling on the ground next to you.  On Left or Right Hand, you can hold them out, cupping them as they sit and wiggle, or stand on your palm.  They also enjoy perching on Shoulders.  (You can, of course, also attach them to any other point, however they will only remember the positioning for those 5 points when they are been moved from point to point.)

You can also rez them- they will stand around or sit on command, and can also be told to wander around in a set radius.  If you want them to stay perfectly still with no wiggling, they can also be told to do that.  They are mostly very obedient.  Mostly.

Some kiwi have accessories- hats or crowns or wings or mustaches or windup keys- those kiwi are 2 Land Impact.  Naked kiwi (*gasp!*) are 1 Land Impact, you can also trade many (but not quite all!) of the accessories with other kiwi- just make sure you put things in exactly the same place on the new kiwi, and in the same scale!  They will give notecards that tell you more info when you choose that in the dialog.… Read the restschadenfreude kiwi gacha

Wagasa at Seasons Story

Seasons Story has opened this month for a Spring round.  I am celebrating spring showers with traditional Japanese umbrellas, bamboo frames with decorated washi paper.  Continuing my kitsune theme from Xiasumi, in some parts of Japan, a sunshower is called kitsune no yomeiri, a fox wedding.  My foxes are prepared for the wedding, with a selection of fitting wagasa: 11 decorated with playful foxes- 7 frolicking with sakura flowers, 4 with kitsune-bi ("foxfire")- and 2 more decorated with just cherry blossoms.  The open umbrellas can be held in the left or right hand, with two left hand options.  Two closed display versions are also included, one with the string up for hanging.  Unlike western umbrellas, wagasa are stored upright, standing on the handle or hanging.

Each umbrella comes with the patterned version, and a simpler solid paper cover of just the background colour.  They are texture change with HUD, which also changes all the assorted bits of the wagasa.… Read the restsakura foxes

Pearl Mori

This month, Collabor88 is all about punk with a girly edge.  I prettied up some skulls by pairing them with pearls- or I punked up some pearls by carving skulls into them.  There are earrings and a necklace, and a set of bracelets that can be stacked and worn all together, or any can be worn separately. The skulls can match the skulls in the flowery sakura mori pieces.

Punk is not dead- and it's doing pastels too at Collabor88!

Xiasumi School Festival

Xiasumi School has opened its doors to the public for a spring school festival.  I'm in Supernatural club with ~silent sparrow~ (we're sharing a classroom) and katat0nik (in the classroom right next door) and a bunch of other awesome people.  Each club got to decorate the floor of its building- Supernatural club is the best club and you should vote for us.  I'm totally unbiased.

For the event, I made a few things.  The sakura mori neo kanzashi are spooky hair flowers with skull centers, a modern interpretation of the traditional Japanese kanzashi- HUD texture options in a variety of colours for all the bits, in hair clips and hairsticks and clustered hana kanzashi hair decorations with and without danging chains with skulls.

(hair by Clawtooth, head by VCO, kimono by GUARAN-DOU)
There are also little baby kitsune, who nap in your arms, twitching little paws and tails in their sleep.  Each comes with either one or two tails, the extra tail is where they store their extra magic.… Read the resta fox and her inugami

There was a fish in the percolator

This month is a Moonless Night at Collabor88.  I made standing Lamps from Another Place, reminiscent of those to be found in the Waiting Room- 5 texture options (read the notecard!  You have to touch the lamps in a special place to be able to use the HUD): silver, darkened silver, gold, copper, and bronze.  Anyone can touch to light, and they come with a few different types of casting light (projectors and non)- you may find the options of use depending upon where you wish to use them.

Now, I do love Coop, but I love Pete even more, so his coffee accident in the first episode just had to happen.  There's a fish in the percolator.

The percolator comes with and without the percolating guts (and the percolating guts as a separate piece), with and without opening lids, and with and without fish, because you might not be so keen on fishy coffee.  The liquid inside has 5 options- water and coffee, of course, and also a couple of red options (it was, after all, something the revolved around murder) and a watered down coffee so you can see your fish swimming in there- as well as empty with no liquid.  The ones with some form of liquid can give out a gift, coffee cups of hot black joe, to anyone who touches them.… Read the restthere was a fish in the percolator

Wee Beasties at The Arcade

It's Arcade time again, this time with rings!  They are modify, so they can also be scaled up to wear as other accessories, as well as to fit your fingers whatever size they might be.

Each ring is texture change on touch, with 6 options- silver, gold, and copper, as well as black and white plastic and wood.  The badger also has a 7th option, a black and white mix.

To be found at The Arcade this month, with so many other amazing goodies as well!
