This gown is a beautiful and daring piece of work. I love that while front on it looks mature and conservative, and then as you would walk away jaws would drop. The Lourdes gown by Indyra Originals is stunning in its velvet and luxurious fabric, and its curvy floor length shape. There is not a lot of use for gowns these days in my social life, but this is one of those impacting creations that I think everyone should have at their disposal, in case of an elegant emergency….

I was lucky enough this morning to get a sneak peak of the lovely NEW foot add on jewellery, by Adam n Eve creator Sachi Vixen. They are rigged mesh, and come with 6 metals in a texture change HUD, and 12 birthstones are available to purchase. ATTENTION MEN OF SL! I personally think these will be wonderful presents for the women in your life, as they are very personal with the birthstones, and just really lovely to wear and show off your beautiful Slink Bare Feet. I will wear them again in the future for sure, and I am definitely going to be romping around the grid barefoot and jewelled up for sure.

Clouds are an amazing thing to watch, even in Second Life I find myself staring at them for a while just watching them move so beautifully across the sky. It gives us this feeling of reality in a virtual world, and the other day I liked the colours of the sky so much I grabbed a snapshot, that I ended up using as my background for todays post.

I have mentioned in the past how much I love a good hybrid, the mixing of system layers and mesh, to really add extra versatility to an item. This Basic Maxi dress is a fantastic example of that, and you will want as many as you can get your hands on, the style, the colours – the appliers – it all works.  I wanted to show how it can go from a casual daytime look, to a dressier night out style with a few simple items added to the look.

With the help of the lovely mesh denim jacket from Emery that is at this months FaMESHed, the combination mixed with the system layer upper portion of the dress is perfect. Adding a few bits and pieces of your favourite jewellery would add a lot of flavour to the look, but I settled for simple today. I was never into denim jackets when they were a big thing in the 80′s but one of my friends was obsessed, and after wearing this one by Emery, I can understand the attraction after all this time. The sunbrella which is a C88 event item by Yummy, is adorable, and thankfully mod also, seeing as it was a bit oversized to start with, but I made it a little smaller.

I really love great latex pieces, and this new mini skirt by BOOM is just fantastic. It is rigged mesh, and the liquid effect of the latex texture is spot on. It can be worn with or without the alpha, but this will depend on your shape and how your ao moves I expect, but I had no issues unless sitting down. The skirt is a partial release for the 100 Block event that is now on, with a multitude of fantastic creators involved. I have been absent the last few days, spending a little time fixing some RL stuff, and it has been relaxing. I was still able to attend to What’s New SL stuff and The Deck…but it gave me a chance to get my mind in order for the upcoming months of Hair Fair preparation. It is definitely an exciting time of the year, and there are so many great events going on now, as well as in preparation for the time before that. I heard about SummerFest yesterday and that looks like an awesome event. If you haven’t heard of it, I suggest if you are a store you jump on the chance to be involved, you can find the application for that HERE.

Also don’t forget you have Collabor88 going on, as well as FaMESHed‘s 1st Birthday celebration. That is a lot of great stuff to see and do. Today though my post is about items not at events. The other day I was looking at my UnBra skins folder and was wondering what had happened to that store, well sure enough if you think hard enough, things happen. The creator of UnBra skins has released two ( only one shown today) new skins, and not only do they have great make ups, and cleavage options etc, but they are all compatible with Tangos and also Slink avatar enhanced hands and feet appliers are available. It is rare that I do location pictures, but this beautiful Maxi dress by SySy’s –  for the ongoing Birthday Celebration at FaMESHed – needed to be seen as it would be worn. I love the long flow of the dress, and the soft gradual dye look in the colours, both soft and dark colour packs available. What is really great is the hand drawn flower that SySy hand drew herself, making this not just a beautiful dress, but wearable art. The style is very giving size wise also, even though standard sizes, I was actually able to go down a size, as I usually wear Small up top, but this time XS was wearable and well too.

The jewellery I am wearing with the dress is also from FaMESHed and is the release by Maxi Gossamer, of Gossamer Jewellery who it seems has also gone into clothing creation now, which is exciting news. So check those out. The Jewellery comes with silver or gold options as well as colour choices via clickable menu for the gems.

It has definitely been a year to celebrate, as FaMESHed has grown into one of the biggest monthly event on the grid, and congratulations to Cracked Mirror, all that have been part of it, from the beginning and to the current organisers and everyone else involved.

Before I go on about the delights that are part of the FaMESHed celebrations, lets talk shoes for a moment. Mon Tissu has released the NEW Daley T-Strap Heels, and they are a cute mix of in the now fashion wise, with a definite retro influence. They come in some solid and a great selection of two tone colours, which mean you will have lots of fun creating looks to go with them. These are their first feet in shoes style, and I wanted to do this tinting guideline a month ago, but then things got way busy so it was put off, but timing has its moments, and this works out well.

Tinting feet/hands/boobs, that have a join that is not covered with a strap, or some other kind of styling item, often come with BLENDER SOCKS or BLENDER GLOVES….now these items are ever so useful, because the idea is that you match them to your mesh/sculpt items and they transtion into the skin. I was really excited to hear that Ploom has finished their hands and feet appliers for the Slink Avatar Enhanced system. So excited I pretty much steamrolled right over Helyanwe to get my hands on them…and then on my hands. They will be released in the store tomorrow, but I couldn’t wait, because she did a great job on them, and I really like her latest Gia skin a lot.

For those who use search in inventory to find things, you will know that searching RING is a pain in the bum, because you get a billion listings for earrings. I decided to test out a few options tonight and I found that in firestorm ( so not really sure if this works in others ) that if you type + Ring you get ONLY rings…this has made me all sorts of happy, so I really hope that helps others too.

This session of My Attic at The Deck is closing at midnight tonight. So this is your last chance to get all these great items at the 95L price range. The theme was Change, and this Chevron dress with its great shape and lovely texturing, brings thoughts of change with the motion of the great chevron print. I love chevron and with it being an inserted panel style, it really pops. The dress also has appliers options, which is a hard task with upper mesh items, but DCNY has pulled it off incredibly well. League has been working on this NEW skin for the past few months. I did get a sneak peak a month or so ago and have been waiting excitedly for its release ever since. The full release is not going to be this week, but a partial “Special Edition” preview will be, and the skin is just marvelous. There is often a collective sigh when it comes to good black skins being more available on the grid, and there are mixed reactions when they are made available, it is a hard thing to get right, so many steer clear of them. Thankfully League hasn’t. Aria comes in three tones, and has the cleavage layers, nail covers, hairbases, including an afro version base – shown in the first pic. I can see this skin not only being great for girls that have been looking for a good black skin, as well as designers who want to add a little diversity to their vendor ads. There is an Aria shape, but I went with mine, so that you can see how it works on features you are familiar with…definitely take her for a spin yourself, because she is beautiful. The new tones will also have appliers available to purchase for SLink hands and feet, as well as lolas, so look for those in the appliers section when the release is announced….

Ok, first off I am going to have a rant…not a usual SL type rant, but a RL rant if you will. I just started watching Vampire Diaries, and do not panic, I am not about to do a spoilers thing, but I have watched the whole first season, and I am hooked now, even though I have tried to watch the series 4 different times and never, until now, got past the first episode. It got me to thinking though, I do love me some Vampires type shows/movies, and I am like many waiting on the next True Blood to come on…then of course Twilight finished incredibly well I must say, and no I am not obsessive, I just liked it.

But the original and still favourite has to be Buffy and Angel, that was a love story and a half, and I miss the shows a lot. But my rant is, what is with all this rule changing crap. What is with Vampires having reflections, and being able to be out in the sun, and eating garlic, and not needing to sleep all day… I know there were times when Angel could do certain things, but sheeesh I am getting really annoyed and think I got ripped off, and I want to throw down my soapbox and demand a redo, I think that all the originals should have to come back and the whole Buffy and Angel and Spike and whatever should all get to come back with the ‘New Rules” – end rant.

Lacuna is a new store, and their second release is part of this session of My Attic @ The Deck. The Diametric skirts are pure bliss, not only to wear, but to look at, they elongate the body, and the texturing and colours used are superb. The bandeau tops that are included as a special My Attic option, come in the two colours used in the skirt, so its an incredible Must Have item. The changing of tops can completely change the mood of each look, and I love the resort wear simplicity of the whole look. It also gave me a chance to show off the new skin Nina by LoOmi, not exactly new new this week, but one of the latest releases by the brand, and I not only love the body, and sexy as tummy…but the face is a joy.

Gidge Uriza wants to start a Plurk Clique, a Clique is a bit different from a friends list, in that you can select a clique to be the ones that share certain things…such as if you were a group that loved baking, or raided together in an MMO…that kind of thing. But this Clique is geared towards something very important, and an incredibly moving idea.

This is the plurk that Gidge put out on her timeline today, and many have responded and commented, and also replurked. My thought was that this needs to be something bigger than a Clique, something that includes an SL Group to connect people, and GoGo suggested a forum. I think that connecting through Plurk and Second Life, and then helping each other in a Forum setting would be wonderful, and so helpful. This is what Gidge wrote in part….

I have been all over the place this past week, and feel like I really neglected blogging, so I am sorry about that. But I did have a blast setting up for My Attic with Whimsy, and rebuilding the build to be even longer because of the amount of fabulous stores we have this session. There was one stage were Mel had to log in and fix the floor, because well between the two of us girls, we kind of messed it all up to hell and back…I think at one stage we tried to drown Sachi and SySy, making them fall in between prims.

I have also as I mentioned in previous posts, been making nail huds, for the wonderful Avatar Enhanced items by Slink. The nails huds for feet and hands, just got a lot better, for those that aren’t into the hands, or wear too many skins and your skin store hasn’t done appliers yet, she just released a nail only option at Slink near the hands on the wall, for only a small price…and all the huds will work on those too, as well as them having the different lengths options, so pure win I say. I am wearing a pair of fluro nails that I made in the past week, you can see all the nails I have been doing HERE.

On top of that Slink managed to rerelease some older shoes in a mesh add on version, which means they fit on over the top of your mesh rigged feet. So re-introducing DESTINY! Wow what a ton of activity in Second Life yesterday, it first started with the release of two NEW hairstyles by LeLutka, and I am wearing one of them called Bouffant in this post. The style is a stunning big hair look, with separate attachments for the base and tresses, so you can resize the base if needed. You also get the lovely pearl tiara included, and I was playing around with other headbands I have worn recently and they fit well, like the studded one from Pididdle and the Bow one from Remarkable Oblivion.

I had no idea it has been so many days since I have blogged, and I almost forgot how I do things layout wise. I have been overly addicted to making nails for the NEW Avatar Enhanced appliers for the Slink hands and feet, and I think when you are on a creative roll, you have to go with it. It is funny setting up a Flair store on my own sim, I always feel like I am wasting prims when using them for myself.  The nails have been great fun, and I have even set out a Gift set, so I hope you will drop by for a visit and grab those, it is a great way to test the system, and they all come with both feet and hands huds.

The system is now released, notices have not gone out yet, but the REDELIVERY Terminals are ready to go. SLink has just released the NEW updated Avatar Enhancement versions of their Feet and Hands. This means that now with the NEW system you can purchase appliers from Skin, Clothing and Accessories creators that will work with these items.

The first stores to already have skin appliers for the feet are Adam n Eve, League and Tuli…following this weekend will be Izzies and Pink Fuel, with Belleza also creating appliers….

When I saw the picture of this sweater, I tp’d so fast to Sn@tch I actually forgot to stand up first, and landed in a sitting position. I did not care though, and quickly TP’d Whimsy and Newdoll to join me. Not only was it already squeel worthy to look at, but then I found it wasn’t in the newness section but on the right side of the store in a weekly discount special thing-a-majiggy. So the whole pack was some ridiculously low price, and seeing as Sn@tch is remarkable in inexpensive fashion, you will be overjoyed as I was. The sweater actually comes with sleeves, but I prefered it without. I love the colours that it comes in, and all all layers, so it is wonderful for layering if you want to wear with a blazer or something…

I always feel like I am sending coded love messages when I wear Exile Hair, the names which are usually always songs, when written altogether often seem to be a whole story. All three styles today are just lovely when it comes to showing off the beautiful new dress from Zaara. This dress has a prints pack and a plains pack, but honestly I see nothing plain about them. The dress is a delight, and I would even go so far as to say that the white would be wedding worthy under the right setting. Bare foot on the beach with just your closest of friends on some tropical island, oh look theres one just a sim or two over —-> hee hee. We really do not suffer for great tropical locations in Second Life….

In Second Life, I have always loved the chance to wear white as much as we can, without the chance of dirt and/or creases ruining a look. When we only had system layers and then sculpts, this often didn’t work out so well, with the shading needed to actually give the clothing depth, it could often look more grey than white – much as I love grey, when you want it to be white, it should be white. Mesh has given us this opportunity now, and I for one am over the moon.

This dress is just beautiful, it gives off a lovely 60′s kind of vibe, and the bow detail is just so adorable. The colours are so pretty and this one is definitely a firm favourite. I really like how it goes well with the cairo boots from Celoe, because of the lovely soft brown.  Other lovely brown , is my hair. I had to go over to Exxess earlier today for Hair Fair business, and this hair just jumped out at me, as well as a few others I purchased. One thing that did upset me though, was that not all hairstyles fit me, I don’t usually have to wear alphas and with these I do. Make sure if you are trying demos, you take off any hairbases because you wont see if it fits properly or not. They are rigged mesh, but I really live this style, so definitely try the demos and see if the hair fits you. I dragged Whimsy over, and had to drag her back out of there, so many great styles.

Yes, obviously from my title I am watching Grease as I type this up. It probably came about because of these gorgeous new jackets from Toki Doki, the Haru jacket is great. I think that if I had to pick a jacket to wear as a group of girls kind of thing, this one would definitely be a contender. The jacket is available in 6 floral prints and one coral, I am not sure why there is only one solid, but as an orange/coral kind of girl, I am all for it.

First some announcements. Erratic is having a huge sale 50% off at their NEW main-store, so be sure to check that out. Then there are some new changes to SL, first off with particles and then some AO changes… this is scripty kind of info, and you can read more about it on the Nalates Things & Stuff blog HERE. Hair Fair Designer Applications are open now, and will be up until 31st of March, don’t delay on getting those in. Another bit of news, this is outside of Second Life, but a wonderful project by the talented Maddox Dupont of KMADD…he has started a website for health and well-being called Benevolent Ways, so if you are into good things, and treating yourself right, make sure and check it out.

Now onto the post. The skin I am wearing is a Skin Fair release Vanina, by Anymore skins. The skin is lovely, and comes with different facial features. The first being freckles, then teeth and then an open mouth option that allows for you to wear prim teeth and actually have some shading for an opening (not shown). They all come with freckles options, and cleavage on and regular shading options. The skin is very lovely and a great default go to skin, so demo demo demo.  You get a better look at the body with the pics of the new Jolie lingerie by Izzies. This is a stunning lingerie set, with many layers and you can wear with or without the garters option.

Today I am Gogo, well partially at least, I should have perhaps worn pink and had blonde hair to be more like her awesome self. But all joking aside – the part about being her, not her awesomeness – I am wearing the NEW Gogo skin by Deetalez. This is a release only available at Skin Fair 2013 and the skin is just lovely. I really like the maturity of the face, the body details, and the tone options are all really nice. The skins also come with tango appliers which are really well done.

More Skin Fair delights with the Anais skin by Glance. I have put this one and taken it off so many times in the last few weeks, just besotted by how it transformed my usual shape into something else. But then the longer I look, the more I see me in there as well. Very good work by the skin creator of Glance to achieve such a mix of the two. When you get to Skin Fair 2013 – which opened today – and you will, there is a Must Have in the form of tattoo layers. In past fairs, I have purchased from Nuuna’s the tribal like face tattoos, and just love them. These eyebrow tattoos blew me away. I love the fun, and fierceness of them, how much they totally add to a look. They really show how much eyebrows play an important role in expressing our feelings, the ones towards the end made me look like I was about to burst into tears. You get 22 brows in the set and the price is fabulous, so make sure you check them out, there are demos, so you can play around with them, and some even look funna wearing two at once.

Now the other Nuuna’s item is the Kati Skin. This skin is not only beautiful, and an incredible price, but has so many options I could have been at it all night. You get the skin with and without cleavage, with no brows. Now that is my only wish for this skin is that there was a skin base with brows already on, because with all the tattoo layers I was running out of layers. But you get black brows, tintable brows and eyelashes on layers. Then you have many blush options, that are also tintable, as you can see in the last pic I made one black. Then you get a great choice of lipsticks, only some shown, and those incredible smokey eyes. Some great things going on and yet to come, the yet to come of course is the Skin Fair about to start March 15th until the 31st, jam packed full of great stores. Today I am featuring LoOmi, this skin Piper is just beautiful. I love the mouth shape, I do wish there was a no teeth option though, but only as an option, because I do think the teeth are adorable too. The make ups are from very natural to vintage sexy, and all in between. I think these are a must have for anyone that really likes a fresh and youthful face, but without looking too young, more fit and fabulous.

It is a time for a lot of yahoo’s and other cheer like sounds. First reason for me is that Elymode has come back from having a long break from creating, and come back strong. The Starlight dress is the first ‘official’ store release, and the options are amazing. Not only can you change the skirt, bow and waist of the dress with the wonderful hud, there are 25 colours to choose from. Then you also have the base colours, five of them to choose from, depending on which pack style you go with. So with the accent options and the base options, you can either go all contrasty, or all in one the same as I have shown.  The other newish item is the store release of the Sydney separates, now I have only seen a few colours in these, and couldn’t resist grabbing this colour skirt, but I do hope that there will be more, because the style is so sexy, and the aboriginal art is just spot on and subtle for this look, I love it…

I had the pleasure of SySy’s company yesterday in the air over in the sim next door to The Arcade. That is right, if you have been living under a rock the past few days, the long awaited return of this Gatcha event is back, and back strong. The sim has been full to overflowing for days since its opening, and it is no wonder with dozens of stores participating, more than actual avatars allowed on the sim. I do love the placement of the event though, you really do get to take advantage of the surrounding sims air space and the handy draw distance options we have in our viewers. Do make sure to uncheck the limit select distance option in advanced settings when you do though, otherwise nothing will work for you, and you may think it is because you are too far away.

While there I was lucky enough to get this adorable Doll Head by Fashionably Dead in the rare bunny option first go. Now I was totally stoked with whatever I was going to get, but I will totally admit to being even more impressed at the options. This head doesn’t just come as is, you get tone options, brow options and eye colour options, when you click on it and choose appearance from the menu. This is great, as it can help you get closer to a skin tone you have, as skin is not included. I did however just fall for the big beautiful dark brown eyes, so left them as the default, but do play around with it, and even if you get the same one as your friends, now you know you can still be different.

It has been a while since Whimsy and I stood side by side this closely, usually it is at a 19m distance – Whimsy likes being within chat distance, which I always laugh at because we are usually in skype on voice the whole time online anyway. The danger day jeans are part of the Miseria release for My Attic @ The Deck, which only has about 19 hours left until it closes for this session. The jeans come in two colours, with two poses included. We didn’t use the poses, but we just both really loved the jeans. My favourite part I realised is actually not shown, and that is that they have cute little splits up the side at the bottom, just to give realism to the fact that they are true skinny jeans.

Crazy is the name of the jeans I am wearing, and you will be if you don’t go and grab them from this session of  My Attic @ The Deck. I love the stripes on them, especially the narrow pink one at the hips that looks as though a skinny belt has been added to the jeans. They are also fabulous colours wise, and I could not resist pairing them up with this new silk tank by Goucci. Not only is it silky and a less traditional tank style, more of a sleeveless blouse than anything, but that it is slightly narrower than normal, helps it give incredible side boob…so if your man is a fan of yours, then entice and tease him with this. The blouse comes in an array of lovely colours, and it is beautifully made and makes styling with it easy.

I have been sitting on this dress for a few weeks now, so excited I was when it was in the process of being made, as I had only ever seen a Tstrap dress like this in RL many years ago and it was instant love. Wow actually so many years ago now at least 20…it is bizarre sometimes to even think of having memories of adulthood that far back, and for the record I am only 40.

I love the Tstrap as mentioned, but I really also like the folds of the skirt portion of the dress, as it just moves so well when you walk, or pose with a hip jut. Very sexy indeed. The dress comes in two types of colour palettes, a strong classics set, which I am wearing the chocolate version of now…then there is the brights set, which the lovely Willow Zander showed in full on her blog HERE. Sneak peaks are funna. This is the soon to be released for League item, that will be a feature at Whore Couture Fair that is about to begin in a few days. The list of designers is huge, you can see it HERE. One thing I always love is a great corset, and these new ones by League are greater than great, they are divine. Not only are they beautiful and unique in style, but they also have options that give you many ways to wear them, and definitely make them a must have item. You will be able to wear them casually as I did in the firts pics, more adventurous, girly like, or with a club vibe…whatever takes your fancy, they will work.

I have taken pics of the HUDs as well, as the three styles have different options. First off the leather, they come with the straps down, one up one down, or sleeveless. Then you have all the studs options metal wise, as well as off. LOVE THAT !  Then there is the Lace version, which only comes in three colours at the moment, but I am sure there will be bigger releases on those and the dayglo after the event. The Lace version is more detailed than the leather. The options with the sleeves is the same, but with the added bonus of black trim, or brown trim, or no trim. Then there is the different boning options in both trim colours, or no boning at all. Then also the studs or no studs etc.

Then you have the Dayglo, which is also only three colours so far, but the bonus if you buy the three in one pack, is that the sleeves will change (Read more...)

I had a great morning playing Tera with Mel and Whimsy this morning, we also met this guy there who had never heard of Second Life. So while riding along I was filling him in on all the wonderful charitable things that the Second Life community does, and a little bit of info about what Second Life is. One of the things that has a huge wow factor, especially with the charity aspect is not the total amount at the end of an event, but how that total is achieved. We all know how currency works in second life, but when something is only a percentage of the total, and the total price on an item is sometimes not even to the value of a full US dollar, it is absolutely amazing. I remember when we did the first ever Another Fundraiser, raising thousands of dollar with the money come in at 50L at a time, that was a huge eye opener into how many people are involved in the process…the customers, the creators, and the organisers, all doing their utmost to do good, it really is something that needs to be discussed more often out in the real world.

Mind you after hours running around Tera in the hot desert sand, in a red bikini –  oh yes, that is how I fight monsters, can you tell Mel got a little excited by the buyable costumes in the game…he even got Whimsy a full leopard print catsuit, because she loves leopard print – I was relieved to come back into SL and get some work done. New Hair just released at LeLutka always makes me happy. This Vibrato style is a long back from the shoulders style that just makes you want to find divine  accessories to show off with it. I didn’t have to look further than my own flickr, as EMO-tions just recently released this stunning set called Vari that comprises of necklace and earrings, and is definitely a show stopper.

I get into gowns rarely these days, as there is not the same kind of social scene for me in Second Life that there was years ago, when Gowns were a once a week at least wearable. But that does not stop me from seeing the beauty still in such stunning creations, like the Mana gown by Baiastice. With mesh gown wear became something stunning again, with the mesh moving with the body, instead of parts going in a different direction when you danced, or sat. Not that that means non mesh gowns are not still beautiful, but I do prefer the mesh versions we have been seeing of late.

A few weeks ago I joined Kavar on a little shopping trip. He Tp’d me over to Grasp, and while he was deciding on which jacket colours to buy, I was falling in love with these incredible cargo with suspenders shorts in mesh. Years ago I had some similar long shorts that used the skirt system layer in a genius way to make the straps…but these definitely surpass those. They are a tad large for me, because there are only three sizes, but the style allows for the size, and there is a demo, so be sure to try them…you will fall for them too.

Then when I was sure I had found my happy for the night, I found this amazing jacket, that not only has a HUD for changing the shirt colours, but also has a shirt off option, so you can still wear system shirts OR nothing underneath it…HOT HOT HOT. The jacket also has an optional fur trim for the hood, I really like that it is optional.

My Attic @ The Deck opened with the them Pop Music on thursday. It has been a roller-coaster of adorable, and fun moments over the past few days, and I got to meet some great people along the way. We have even inspired some people to create their own Pop Music video, like this adorable one HERE. One of the great items at My Attic, is the Pop Princess Collection by DCNY. Now this looks like a dress in the ad, but once you get it you realise it is a great high waisted skirt and a crop top that can be worn on their own, so that is definitely a must have for versatility.

I have been very busy lately, with My Attic about to start its next session on the 21st February at The Deck, and lots of other preparations going on. So blogging has been a distant second, third or fourth to all of that, but I do plan to get back into it once I get my sleeping pattern back to normal as well.

I couldn’t delay today though, because Ploom has released NEW Skins. There has been a lot of waiting, and a lot of nagging for these to come out, as it has been far too long between skin releases from Ploom. The Gia skin comes with so many great options as well, with brows, two make ups per pack, lipsticks in a great range of rich beautiful colours – I only showed one in the pics – as well as cleavage options, nail covers and as a separate purchase you can even get tango and lush appliers to match your skins.

It is New Head time, with the about to be released Sadie by LOGO – be sure to join their subscriber so you can be first to know of the release time. Not only is there a new face, but so many new features this time around. First off the big excitement is the NEW Expressions. That is right, not only do you have the ones from last time, but a few others have been added, as well as a very incredible ability to use the upper and lower of each expression separately. So if you like the eyes from one, but the mouth of another, you can click those areas on the hud, and they will change for you….BRILLIANT!

I did a pic of all expressions as they come, as well as my favourite upper and lower combination on the larger pic in the mix. When I was little I thought that Hope from Days of Our Lives was so beautiful, and still do, but she had this awesome skill of raising one eyebrow at things she was suspicious of, or when Beau was being naughty. I used to try so hard to do that in RL, and now I can do it in SL.

The HUD is now much larger, because it also has the hair bases, and everything else going lengthwise along the hud. When it is minimised it is on the far left of your screen. Now please note, if you wear any other HUDs on that side of your screen, the invisible size of the LOGO Hud may be sitting over the top of your existing ones, so even though you cannot see it overlapping, your other huds may appear not to work, just go into edit and move them out of the way, or o (Read more...)

I don’t dress as “out there” as I used to in the past. I often costumed up, and did posts on more of the unusual items in Second Life. When I did get the chance to look at the recentish – last year is still recentish – Unfold collection from MiaMai that is all sorts of delish, I knew I wanted the chance to show at least some of it as soon as I got the chance. You often have to be in the mood for creations such as these, because forcing a post is never a good thing.

Tonight I was in the mood, and the combination of the all in one skirt, pants boots in mesh with the bandages top from Sn@tch was just too fun not to wear.

The 1920′s was such a beautiful decade – in the movies at least – I don’t know how they were for the people experiencing them. Watching old movies, you had such a feeling of everything being so glamorous, especially for those that had money. It seemed like every single night, was a night spent entertaining or being entertained…dressing up and being escorted to fine establishments the normal way of doing things.
