I don’t like the heat, it tends to make me ill – but I love fireflies, and I feel a pang of loss every time the weather gets cold and there’re no more horny and glimmering little cannibals in my backyard.

I dove into my handy-dandy stock folder and found, to my utter delight,  that I remembered correctly: I had an exquisite gold-leaf texture. I also discovered that the original earrings were twee and nice and all and WERE INSUFFICIENTLY FANCY SCHMANCY.
