This song no matter what the weather, has me jumping up and down excited for the summer time.    Grass being cut, making elderflower cordial (with a healthy dash of something sparkling) and hanging out with a picnic, friends and music at the park.

Whilst I wait for that moment when the sun actually does break through, I took a mini break from the RFL work to do a mini release of some garden style accessories.   Simple polka dots papered over vinyl cases, lanterns and old white garden wood furniture.    Prices from 50L – now at the main store at Scarlet Creative.

I thought I would be optimistic and go with more shine for this round, and have made some worn but lovingly looked after beach huts in the theme colours of White/Silver, Cool Blue, Persimmon and Amber.    The slightly flaky paint effect gives a vintage inspired vibe, along with some cute accessories from record players through to those oh so British Windbreakers!

This year’s Expo will open on May 24th at NOON SLT, and will close on June 2nd at 9pm SLT.  I am busy making some goodies for it and will be located on the Cheeky Pea sponsored sim.   We had a lot of fun last year on our sim as the “mesh” sim and I think it will be super interesting to see how much more mesh and new designs are in Second Life for this year’s event.

Pop in your diaries and I will post more near the time to remind you all to come and donate for a great cause (and get some great products too!).

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Wilds of Organica is participating in Fantasy Faire, which opened today and runs for one week only!

Newly released are a set of Peryton avatars, featuring ten coats (two of which are RFL exclusive!), a full AO, customizable eyes and wings that open and close when the avatar is jumping or in flight. AO animations and a limited selection of poses for Perytons is also available on site. Full information on operation can be found here.

In addition to this, a new Cheshire coat is now available, also an RFL exclusive. I’ve also updated the Cheshire line with some significant fixes and additions, including an animated mesh tail as well as corrected mesh bodies with varying arm lengths to account for primarily bipedal or quadrupedal use. A full AO is in the works, however not quite ready for release due to current workload. Ideally the mesh body fixes will allow for better movement overall, however it should be noted that older kitten animations purchased from the seperate animation vendor may be broken when used with the updated mesh bodies. Individuals who find this to be the case may contact me directly for refund or credit.

Existing users of the Cheshire avatar can expect an update to be delivered shortly. Subsequent rollouts for this update will occur for the Tabby line afterwards, with some additional coats released after that.

Wilds of Organica will be in attendance at Fantasy Faire this year!

More details are to follow, however I can say that a full set of new, large avatars is on the way! A variety of older and newer products will also be on display. The Faire only runs for about a week so do mark down Apr 21-Apr 29 2013 in your calendars!

More info on the new avatars to follow; i figured I’d update here at least to give you a sneak-peek before I logged off for the night.

The words in this song make me realise for every cloudy day, a sunny one will be on the horizon. And now makes me want to build a boat – but that aside!  The Windmill part of our Scarlet Apple project is now up at Collabor88 which opens at midnight SL time (ish I think).

I used just a few worn woods and soft plasters on this leaving it simple so people can decorate and create their own feel with decor.   It does however have some lovely window boxes for spring planting (TULIPS!!!).

It comes with the two versions as promised, for Petites/Tinies and regular sized avatars.

ETA – The price is L$488.  I have notecarded all those who have already purchased to arrange the adjustment/refund.

This song, not sure if I have used it before – but it calms my soul and just blocks out everything.    This song picks me up (and Scarlet Creative needs some love for this month).   I have never really taken one day out of SL in the last 7 odd years.  And for the last month I have been totally and utterly offline from Flickr, Blogs, Second Life.  This was unplanned and it happened abruptly without notice due to RL so I wanted to post to let people know a little of the reason why and to let you know the latest.

Firstly, the windmill under our Scarlet Apple label.  Sorry it was late and secondly that I never was able to get a message out to people.  It happened right as I had to go offline.  I am waiting to hear if Collabor88 can take it for this round and if so it will go in when it opens shortly.   Thank you to Apple who has soldiered on without me over these weeks (I just know he has missed my amazing and sharp wit combined with my colourful avatar dress sense).   Anyway, if not, I am going to still release it at the discounted price but on my own sim.

I read my Flickr for the first time today and felt awful how many of you had been asking after it so for this I owe you hugs and cups of tea to say sorry.  A big thank you for taking the time to check in on me, and how things are, from the bottom of my heart.  I feel quite humbled by the amount of emails I had and  private messages so again thank (Read more...)

When the vendor system offers you the update just click “Accept” – if you accidentally decline, just head to the Trompe Loeil Mainstore and use the Redelivery Terminal to have your Treehouse Cottage re-sent to you, and the vendor system will automatically send you the updated V2 Treehouse.

Spring is near and these new mesh tulips are the perfect way to welcome it in!

 

Ten varieties are available and closely modelled to reflect real varieties of tulips. Each package has three tulip shapes for a little variety. They each also come with a potted version for your convenience.  They feature solid textures, so no alpha flickering. They’re also 1LI per individual plant, 4LI per potted plant.  As usual, these are mod/copy/no transfer.

In addition, there’s been a small update to the Treehouse Cottage – previous purchasers will be getting the update automatically offered from the vendor system, or you can get the update by using the Redelivery Terminal at the Trompe Loeil Mainstore desk (just select to have the Treehouse Cottage re-delivered, you’ll get the updated version sent to you). The update fixes an alpha sorting issue with the windows in the “closed” setting, and also fixes a missing texture on the hinges on one of the doors. There are some amazing items here (ok I have now got multiple pairs of Roller Skates).  We split out Arcade items into Toys for the Boys and Tranquility for the Girls.   There is a range of furniture, rugs and accessories with the rare item as a mesh soft animated bed for couples or solo (when you are hiding out whilst he is playing his game station!) complete with heavy drapped blankets and bed frame.  This bed even lets you jump on it!

Each lamp is scripted to turn on and off lighting and glow effects with a touch – the Spotlight goes a step further and incorporates projection lighting for a fantastic effect (you may have to turn this feature on in your Preferences depending on which viewer you use and your hardware settings). Plus, they’re all modify, so you can tint or resize to your heart’s content!

For those not familiar with the event, The Arcade is a great opportunity to pick up completely new and original pieces of work from many of SL’s top content creators!

It’s a giant gachapon (random prize machine) festival that’s running March 1 thru 31st, and it features a boatload of great merchants, whom I’m humbled to be participating with. Participants offer a set number of items ranging from fashion to home decor and beyond for low prices and limited availability.

Wilds of Organica has created a special tiny dragon avatar for the occasion and more details will be unveiled closer to the event, so keep your eyes open for further news!

Upcoming are two big events in Second Life, the first The Arcade, Apple and I are excited to create a theme of Toys for the Boys (his side) and Tranquility for the Girls (my side).   Also Collabor88 is up in March and we have a new series to release that we are loving making right now.

The shot is of some new items I will be releasing, this is a very rough render (5 minutes using a physical renderer) of some of the new items coming out.    The bed will be part of the Tranquility for the Girls Arcade (rare item) with a full suite of animations for solo or couples.
