I’m so thrilled to announce Avatars for Animals first charity event. The Catnip Carnival will run from Saturday May 18th through Sunday May 26th, and will feature ten incredibly talented designers across the grid.

Avatars for Animals keeps its focus on small, nonprofit animal shelters who are in need of help. Our first event will benefit The River Cities Humane Society for Cats located in Louisiana, USA. 100% of the proceeds made from the event will benefit the shelter directly.

We are so excited to see the Second Life Community come together to support this cause.

It’s been a long time coming… it’s time to close Adorkable Poses. I have had an amazing four years of making poses and getting to know some wonderful people. My real life has just gotten so busy that I am not able to keep up with my store as I would like. Thank you all for your love, support and friendship. I never dreampt that what started out as a fun little hobby for a stay at home Mom could turn into something that actually helped my family financially. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing customers and I appreciate it so much. Thank you to the bloggers that have also been so kind to blog my poses. You all are such an asset to store owners and I know I wouldn’t have made it this far without you. A special thank you to my friend and biggest supporter, Sasy Scarborough. Without you, I would never have even had a store to begin with. I will forever treasure our friendship and every bit of business and personal advice that you ever gave me.

Everything in my mainstore is 50% or more off, now through June 9th. I will do my best to get everything up on Marketplace. If you have any unused store credit, now is the time to use it as it will be gone after June 9th. You can check your rewards balance at the front of the store. Single poses are on the first floor and couples and props are on the second floor.

Fifty Linden Fridays!!

Round two for oOo at FLF (wow, that’s a lot o’ letters). This week I’ve got Daphne, 5 uber-sexy single poses. I am kinda in love with this set, and can’t wait to see what people do with it! Thanks to Mr Monstre for a great name choice.

In case you were wondering what’s kept me quiet, it’s preparations for Pose Fair, which is only a week away. Starting the 29th, I’ll have 16 brand spanking new things available, including two all-girl group poses, four sets of singles (3 for the ladies, 1 for the guys), two couples poses, and my first ever mesh prop, which includes 8 erotic couples poses.

This is the last in the 10 days of the Hunt at the Studio for the holidays. I really hope everyone who came in, searched around, found and purchased one of these gifts had as much fun with this as I did. The response was fantastic, and I’m thinking there may need to be a summer round of pose giveaways!

Today’s Gift is Sled Four, the last in the Sled Collection. I’ll be sending out the combined set of poses/props to those who have purchased all four already, and the full collection will also be offered in January. I’m taking a few days off after this hunt, and, knowing me, probably working on all the stuff I’d like to release in January, too!

It might be the one most hunters have been waiting for. Today’s offering is the rather naughty, definitely nice pose, North Pole. I don’t normally give poses more than one-word names, but sometimes they just need a little more, and the play on words with this one was what inspired the pose. 2012 oOo Studio Holiday Pose Hunt

Been planning for this for quite some time, and it’s finally here! From December 15th through the 24th, the Studio will be offering one pose each day. These include full sets of singles, sexy couples, even four prop poses with the prop included! The hunt will re-set at 1AM SLT, with new gifts for 24 hours. Poses are 45L each day at the main store.

Pro tip! You can gift these items to friends who may not be able to make it to the hunt.

Here are the poses being offered:

15th: Chilly – A set for cold weather looks. Hands are further away from the body so they fit over bulky sweaters and coats. One special pose for earmuffs, one for hoodie pockets.

16th: Sledding One – Downhill and fast! Includes the prop.

17th: Snowfall – Welcome the snow with a set of singles for looking to the heavens and checking the weather. Works well for rain, too! Mostly unisex.

18th: Sledding Two – Just a little push to get you started…

19th: Slippers – It’s not only cold out there, it’s icy! A fun set for falling over and falling down (and staying there). These work great with facial animators.

20th: Sledding Three – Cuddle up after a long day on the slopes.

21st: Skate – Classic, pinup inspired skating poses (skates not included).

22nd: Crisp – photo coming soon

23rd: North Pole – Santa and his “helper” are getting a bit naughty this holiday season! But I’m sure they’re staying warm.
