RAVEN’S PERCH | SLURL | SHOPS
Sponsored by Rivendale. Raven’s Perch by Kaelis Ember & lrriven.
A place of beauty and mystery, this is a land that was once grand but has now been lost to the passage of time. Nothing remains untouched by the wild chaos of nature. The shadow of what it once was adds an element of Fae grace and elegance to the shell of a formerly great city. Walk its rose choked avenues, explore its Gothic ruins, and unveil the mystery of its fall to ruin.
All my photos of the sim are at this link
Raven's perch is a gorgeously Gothic sim. The buildings are all full of stained glass windows and flying buttresses and vaulted ceilings. Surrounding these miniature cathedrals is a wild thicket of trees, roses, and thorns. Perfect homes for the many many ravens you will see. Mr Poe would be very much at home in this sim.
Raven's perch is one of the many sims this year hosting a roleplay during festival. You can see a few items in place for it already. And learn more about it at this link
You can also learn a bit in world by looking for these

Click here for a list of all the stores on Chaddul Ro a with SLURL's to their main stores
I will not be posting SLURL's individually, as you can get them all at this handy link. If you need one for an item I have on that is NOT at Fantasy fair, and that will mostly be hair and poses, Ask for it! I'll be happy to tell you, but I am trying to highlight the Fantasy Faire exclusive items, or items by FF vendors only.
First sim creators post! To showcase some of the amazing items you can buy at the faire this year to support Relay for Life.
And thanks to the magic of gyazo I can now show off animated things! WOOT!
Ok so first up. Two totally different looks by Les Encantades.
This gorgeous ball gown called Sandrine in the Rose color. It utterly did not match the sim in theme but I kinda love the contrast there in truth. It has a full train in the back and the fabric falls wonderfully about the legs.
The next dress is a shorter more warrior like dress called Wanda and I have it on in Burgundy. I parried it with this great sword by Fallen Arms called Unity Maxim Steel Longsword .… Read the rest
I don’t even remember when I purchased Filter Forge
®, the popular third-party companion to PhotoShop® that lets you apply fancy filters to your photos. It was long ago, maybe 2008 or 2009. Anyway, I don’t even use PhotoShop anymore as my laptop has no CD/DVD drive to allow me to install it. With materials, shadows, mesh bodies, and all the other controls we have over our raw shots, there’s no real need for PhotoShop either, except for the super fancy portraits with painted hair and so on. I still use Filter Forge from time to time for the fun of it. I just open photos directly in the software. Anyway, it’s 80% off today
so I thought I would play with it and let you all know that it’s deeply discounted. Please note, that is an ordinary link with no clever code that gives me some compensation for promoting their software. I just have the basic package, the cheapest one, and it has everything I need. I don’t need to do pictures bigger than 3000 by 3000, so it’s enough for me.… Read the rest
Once upon a time there was a sweet young lady named Lulabelle who lived near the woods. One day Lulabelle was having a picnic with her dear friend Doe. Doe was a deer, a female deer, and Lulabelle's best friend. They often had picnics in the woods where they would share treats of apples and pumpkin juice. Sometimes Lulabelle would bring other treats like tea and cookies, but she always made sure she had apples for Doe.
It was on this fateful day that the strangest of things happened. The picnicking pair were set upon by a bad of roving Broccoli!
Doe decided to have a chat with the Broccoli as she was fluent in cruciferous vegetable. Before the talks started Doe promised the Broccoli she would but eat them. Little did they know Doe didn't eat broccoli due an unfortunate incident with broccoli toots and birds some time ago. That however is a story for another day. On this day Doe listened to the Broccoli and learned that she and Lulabelle had been picnicking on the Broccoli's land.… Read the rest
As the Fairelands return and open the portals to the mundane realms for the eleven brief days of magic, so do their denizens, the Faire Folk. Some of them are warm and sunny like unicorns on a summer day, but some gather shadows around them like a cloak, sliding through the fog in the darker corners of the land.
There is always necessary contrast there between dark and light, magic stemming from all living emotions, the good and the less-so. There is an invitation to all beings no matter their allegiance, a call to come and join your kind. For no matter the flavor of your spells, we all belong together in magic. We all belong together in the Fairelands.
Fantasy Faire is now open (April 20 – 30, 2017) and as usual, it’s full of events! If you’re interested in shopping, there’s the shopping catalogue
. If you’re interested in roleplay, dance performances, Literary Festival, DJ parties or any other events we so often come up with, check the Faire Happenings
daily!… Read the rest
