The Fabienne skybox is the latest release from Barnesworth Anubis for Collabor88. It’s amazing to me what architecture can inspire in a person. While the name, Fabienne, put my brain in a very salty Pulp Fiction sort of place, upon rezzing it and seeing the beautiful build, I slipped into a very different frame of mind.

It reminded me of the sort of place a kept woman would live. Lol.

It has a masculine elegance and with just a touch of feminine grace that truly reminded me of a place that a man would BUY – for a woman. Barnesworth is going to kill me now I can just feel it.

The elegance of the place though, makes me think of cocktail parties and lovely entertaining, and calls to mind the famous mistresses like Madame de  Pompadour. But despite the glamour and style of such an elegant life, it made me wonder what the in between hours were like, of a kept woman – of the kings mistress?

It seems to me that, when the guests leave, and your lover returned home, it would be quiet and empty, you’d wait again for your turn.

But it also seems like, if it were love, it might be worth it.

The Fabienne skybox is an elegant, gorgeous choice whether for yourself or a woman you might want to keep.
