Zibskavaganza

Zibska‘s designs dance on the border of fantasy, still rooted on the side of avant garde and eccentric extravaganza with a touch of vintage. They could be easily styled for a fantasy character, but these new Hair Fair releases called for a show, for attitude, for modern-approaching-futuristic boldness.

The gifts in Zibska’s fair booth include this body suit in three colours, the earrings I kept on throughout the shoot, this hair and all the intriguing face tattoos. The lipstick is a part of the skin, everything else is Zibska’s delightful work. As for the setting, it’s Inspire Shadow Box – Spheres by BENT., from “Seraphim Turns One” Birthday Hunt. It was perfectly modern-quirky for this character.

As for the new releases, this Myrna definitely had a vintage flair to it. Combined with the Raine makeup it is almost like an old comic character with the purposeful pixelation.

Ode is deceptively simple style, bringing in mind ladies with cigarette holders, lace-teasing pillbox hats and jazz. The makeup is a combination of Vibe and Cleo, giving her plenty of attitude while still staying somewhat within the normalcy limits.

Laerke seems to almost have wings or a wreath of laurels, adding a nod toward more fantasy classical style, easily deified should one wish to don a toga. Zelia Noir’s shading rising at the corners adds to the effect.

Qeren is perfect for demons or possibly a strong Taurus-woman charging toward obstacles in her way. (Read more...)
