Hair Fair 2012 – Bandana Day

Hair Fair 2012 - Bandana Day - B

Hair Fair 2012 is coming to a close, and with that is the annual Bandana Day.  For those of you that don't know what Bandana Day is, basically its a day to remove your hairstyle and wear a bandana of any kind to show your support to Wigs for Kids.  Solidarity for all those tiny people out there fighting with every ounce of strength, wearing scarves, bandanas or wigs to cover up their hair loss during therapy.

Designers, bloggers and other residents around the grid had the opportunity to create their own bandana to be sold at Hair Fair.  All proceeds for every bandana goes straight to charity, and there are a lot of really cool designs.  I went with the aviator look, although I took a lot of liberties on the way it was styled.

I didn't ask Bouncer to match me simply because at the end of the day its not about that.  Showing support in any way you can has nothing to do with matching each other so I just left it up to him to wear whatever.   Its like a funky melding of 2 different styles, but I think in the end it kind of worked out really well.  Big thank you for all the designers going hard to create some great styles for this year's Hair Fair.  Thanks to all the fellow bloggers that got busy putting out all those HF blogs and spreading the word.  Thank you to the Wigs for Kids Charity for existing, and giving a helping hand to these little angels ♥
