I was blog perving this morning, reading through the mass of blogs that I enjoy looking at with my early morning coffee, when I stumbled upon a fundraising event that seemed fairly interesting. The Ashraya Project, according to the official SL event blog, is “an organization based in India which operates with the purpose of providing aid to Indian children in need and abused women through the implementation of various projects.” This project is a sales event with a glamourous twist, all of the designers taking part seem to have a very high fashion edge to them, if you want beautiful gowns and interesting pieces then this event may open your eyes to some designers you had never heard of before it certainly did that for me!
The photos in the gallery below are of any exclusive or donation item that I could find, some stores are still setting up and others do not seem to have a donation item in their collections, yet I have taken pictures and made notes of as many of the ones I could find for you as possible. Also, although I have ordered the pictures there is no set order and if you wander up and down the rows on the two sims you will not miss out on anything. Prices here do vary, but there seems to be a lot of beautiful items here, with a percentage of marked items being given to the Ashraya Charity.
