Checking out the mesh deformer project viewer…

…and it is pretty darn neat.

This image shows a standard size M mesh dress on each of the five standard size avatar shapes. This is a huge improvement over the earlier versions of the deformer! I am not wearing an alpha in any of these pics:

This item can be used to test rigged mesh clothing fitting in the deformable mesh project viewer. Please be aware, this is an experimental item for use in an experimental viewer, the package does not contain our full range of sizes, and the mesh deformations can only be seen using the viewer linked to below.

Things you should know:

*This is not the full viewer release. The feature is still being developed, this is just a test viewer with that feature integrated.

*Only items that have been reuploaded in this viewer with deformations enabled will be able to deform to your avatar’s shape.

*This item is provided so that you can get an idea how deformations will work with your avatar shape.

*I’ve been asked if this means you will need to re-purchase all your mesh content. The answer to that is up to individual designers- as it stands now, deformability is set at the time the mesh is uploaded, so existing items will need to be re-uploaded by their creators.
